Actually I have no idea - I never really noticed it when I tool the shot! That said, there was a small fire pit that was set up a couple feet behind me where I took the shot so perhaps someone thought they would whittle a whole tree...

Okay.

I want the view from the jetty in Elgol next.
Then the Quiraing, then the Old Man of Storr.
Tomorrow will do.

Right - challenge accepted . Maybe not tomorrow though as I’m going fishing in the Sligachan river.

There’s a cracking route from Elgol to Bonnie Prince Charlie’s cave which looks sweet. A video of the Quirang route is coming when I get a chance to get back up there. It’s a bit of a hairy route in places but amazing. Old Man of Storr has a new path all the way up it, but I won’t bother with that - more interesting is the coastal route (not really a path) from Portree northbound - amazing cliffs and the odd eagle.

On the way to a fast ride around Swinley. Was a great ride until the older guy in front of me went OTB, breaking his nose and losing his front teeth. For some reason, after witnessing that I decided to head home!

Fantastic ride in the 'Shire ( Hexhamshire that is ) ..with nary a hobbit , elf or dwarf in sight ..

Great to be out with Tasker & Jaco again ..we are slowly working on Mr.T by swapping bikes at strategic points in the ride..Im sure he will crack one day and buy an emtb ..
The pint at the Travellers beer garden afterwards has never tasted so good ..

Good ride today, not Switzerland or the Shire but when in London you have what you got.

I took a ride to Sandbanks today to flatten my battery. Well, after 53km I had 2-bars or 34% left.

I also found what is the Boost setting for - riding on a beach. What a blast!

Nothing amazing just a quick 45min blast in the chilterns...look dry trails at last!!,with one of the dogs as Sunday lunch soon at buddy’s house.
dogo had fun with the pheasants & squirrel‘s in the woods mucho!

When you realize you can’t take epic sunsets, landscapes or mountain pics…trees and creeks will have to do.

Another abandoned trail to a water falls. A pic of my neighbour taking a pic. Wore out my “Save the Tea-Spoon” shirt so I wore the green shirt. A couple of bridges I built on another trail. Had to cut out several fallen trees …too big/high.
These trails are eMTB friendly I think …cause they are loops. Unless you’re a hardcore mtb’er.
