It's the rubber seal etc that's worn and not much more to get a complete thing with bearings for £30. Had my issues with looseness as well I ended up putting star Hope Doctor in or something like that. I keep an eye on it as I used it loose without noticing so wore carbon and needed a new frame but warranty covered it. My pet hate is the top bearing it gets filthy I probably go through 3 a year. I reckon crap gets in through the cable holes in frame.I had an issue with this headset on my Kenevo. Kept on coming loose as the insert at the top of the headset that fits between the bearing and stem was a bit short so the face plate wasn’t putting enough pressure on the system when pre-loaded. Figured out what the problem was and reverted to the insert that came with the Kenevo and it hasn’t budged since.
Strange as this headset is the part number Spesh recommends.
Try it out for yourself.
