I wish for nothing Amflow related but facts are facts. US sales were 30%-35%. New models are banned here. Those are facts. So then we can surmise that US sales are down and probably not growing. That is reasonable inference. Any question?

No questions just a repeat of the observation that the world doesn't revolve around the USA, especially with the multiple bankrupt running it & you have used imaginary American exceptionalism to extrapolate a business outselling just about everyone else to be what was it? You seem very uninformed or uneducated (or too young) in all this BUT I can try to educate you. The US is a huge and for many, the largest electronic market. The CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is the largest and most powerful conference for electronics retailers globally. DJI was one of the most prominent and well-funded showcasers there from 2020-2024. How do I know this stuff instead of you? For one, I attended CES for a decade. I spoke to the DJI execs as part of my company at the time and also out of curiosity....ever year. We ordered electronics from some Chinese companies for the US market. Not drones...I was just curious about the tech. That is when I learned that the US market was almost 35% of their business and they wanted to dominate the US market due to the margins here. The US consumer happily pays $1,000 - $3,000 for consumer drones.

Fast forward to 2025...post ban, DJI themselves don't show up but their proxies do with their drones but business in the US is down. These are all facts and knowledge gained from conversations with DJI and some other Chinese proxies. You are pretty outclassed here but I hope you learned something instead of posting emojis. If you did not learn anything, good luck.

Something of an assumption, since you don't know me, what I do or who I deal with, bordering on chronic insecurity seems to me. This is not a reflection of the bikes but the company. This is my story.
At the beginning of May i decidied to order my PX Pro from the AmFlow website as there was none available in stores around Australia anywhere and the expected delivery date changes every day to constantly be 6 weeks till delivery (see attached screenshot from today).
2 weeks after I paid AmFlow IN FULL $14000, i managed to find a dealer that managed to get a PX Pro in my size. So I promptly requested a refund via the AmFlow web site and within 30 minutes my order was changed to “Refund Processed”, and the fine print said it could take between 7 and 14 business days. (Which is crap as banks in Australia dont hold onto your money for any reason and I was told IF it was sent it would be in my account by the next business day)
Anyway, I waited the full 14 business days and then the emails started. First AmFlow kept telling me to chase my bank as that’s where the hold up is. Then after another week they finally admitted to an internal glitch that caused the initial refund not to go through.
So for the past 3 weeks AmFlow keep stating that the refund has been made but still nothing in my account.
I have been advised by retail people that the Chinese are terrible to deal with when it comes to money, but I won’t go into those issues.
My issue is I paid $14k for a bike and these bastards won’t give me a refund, so, ironically, I can go and buy an AmFlow.
Be warned, just wait till they are in stock and buy from your local bike shop, although I have heard that with a lot of other brands moving to the Avinox drive system Australia won’t see any bulk new bikes arrive until 2027.
I thought I was doing the smart thing and buying direct like I have done with other high end bikes.

I'd be, realistically without a new bike at all for a good while if a brand didn't refund me or deliver my new 5 figure bike. My annual bike purchase are items I budget for in a long list of things that I have to pay for, like everyone else.
This sucks for those that are experiencing this.
Have to say that I had really been warming up to the brand as of late, the product has proven itself after all. The DJI motor is dope and even the new Amflows look fantastic to me.
Reputation, consistency, etc. matters to me as well. If the brand was holding my money not in a million years would I still go and buy one from another source. Not even their motor actually.

But in my defence not sure about the other guy (Flowrider X), I reached out to a retailer who had the PX in my size and he was happy to send it to me while the refund went through. So technically Ive only paid once for the bike, unlike Flowrider X who has paid twice, so in my case me and 5he retailer thought it would be a simple refund and transfer of coin.

Knee jerk reaction says it's a bad idea. However, I bought a bike from Deporvillage in 2022 & was charged VAT twice on it, amounting to an £850 overcharge I got nowhere with the company & out of frustration, left a review detailing what had happened. Couple of days later, they refunded me, so it can work but it is the big red button you should think carefully about before pressing.

I was looking at Amflow PR bikes yesterday online and came across quite a few 'bike shops' that would gladly take my $1000 usd deposit on the yet to be released PR. I was once similarly bamboozled by a faux-Rapha website that looked identical to the real one. Luckily my credit card company took care of it.

This applies to any business China…for any reasons.

Yet, if there was a show of hands, many members on this forum would admit to purchasing from Alibaba/Aliexpress with no issues. The major issue here is the manner in which funds were being distributed. As many others have already pointed out, Paypal or a credit card would have avoided ALL of it from getting to this point. I think the OP has already been hammered enough on this issue. Now he just needs a bit of understanding and $14k from Amflow.

Thanks for all the info guys. I've made up my mind and so did a few of my buddies. We've been waiting on ordering Amflows until we find out about extenders, but this solved it. No Amflows for us. My LBS said they won't be carrying Amflows either.

Same here. The wife finally agreed to let me order an Amflow, but after this shit storm of negative stories about the company, there is NO way in hell I'm making that big a purchase only to get screwed before AND after the sale. Hey, Amflow... Walmart gives much better sales/service on their $79 HUFFY bikes than you do on $14k emtbs, from what I have garnered from this thread.

Nope, it's their real website and their bank account in the netherlands is also real and makes sense.
