Unno Mith released with DJI motor, 800Wh battery

I don't have one , nor want one really after trialling my friends a few times at FOD and BPW , I came to the same conclusion per hob nob , both of us, my friend and myself are not 100% dialled in on suspension set up as hob nob is , but in stock it is a pain in the ass to get it dialled in , where as on other bikes we both have , combination of Fox and Rockshox respectively it's relatively easy to get dialled in and but it is a cool looking bike , but not for me , He still loves it though but will end up getting the suspension pro tuned for sure , for myself I will possibly gonna go down the new Trek Slash + route , friend is on the Unno Mith facebook group and pinged me this about the cable rattle and entry issues if anyone is interested....

My old Yeti SB130 and SB150 had the same cable issue, the cables would eventually eat into the carbon on the frame. Yet replaced both of my frames twice because of it. They finally put grommets in the frame to prevent it from happening but it took them a few years to do it. I would have thought Unno would have taken they into account already.

I'm in the fod and mines fantastic for everything here, had no issues with setting up the suspension and I'm picky with setup (I will change settings for different areas here) guess it depends on personal ability, weight and preference. Have not had any cable rattle issues either, unfortunately some have the issue some don't.

cool , yes for sure in terms of suspension set up ability , same as any bike , some 100%, some not in terms of issues , luck of the draw ,

I’m over the moon with mine. It’s the best bike I’ve owned as an overall package for the riding I do. I’ve been riding for 20+ years

I’ve had it since August and ridden at Golfie, Risca, Off Piste FOD, Surrey Hills and on my local trails. It’s quick and smooth everywhere and great on steep trails. I’m up to about 1000km so far.

I have no cable rattle although the bottom out is a thing but I’m running an Albert rather than the Mary and I’ve re-shaped the fender in as close to the lower shock mount so it a minimal issue for me.

I'm noticing a trend here, everyone who has demo'ed one, or ridden a mates etc, doesn't get on with the suspension and generally the sentiment is the bikes not for them. Yet everyone who actually owns the bike absolutely loves it and says its the best bike they've ever had?
Is it just a case of getting used to a bike with a different suspension concept?

Struggling to understand the issue from my own experience. I’ve set mine up with the original Float X then managed to pick up a X2 new take off from a Mith Pro. Set the sag to 33% and went with Fox advised settings. I’ve tweeted that a touch and added an extra token but I’ve not found it any harder to get set up than any other bike. A have been riding Santa Cruz VPP bikes for a good number of years though so maybe that helps.

yes probably , although paying that kind of wonga , your gonna tell yourself it is the best bike ever , Having ridden one a number of times , just not for me , Super looking , overall build quality good , but some niggles on some bikes and some design like niggles , like that rear fender clearance and some open cable entries where a simple 4-5mm plug would of fixed it and a super sensitive suspension set up , as I said my mate is happy with his in general , no cable rattle issue on his , just need getting his suspension dialled in to his riding style and locations. Once he get sorted on the suspension , sure he will be super happy.

If you'd spent that much money on one you are hardly gonna slate it 😂

Same applies to any bike tbh. I'm sure my Forbidden may have some sort of flaw but I'll probably still rave about it haha

@5Tuey or other UK riders - were any of you driving back on the A68 from Jedburgh / Golfie way Sunday pm / early evening as I saw my first Mith on the back of a car bike rack?
No not me, no way I’d hang a bike worth that much off the back of a car. I bought a van after dragging my SC Heckler down the fast lane of the M11 15 years ago 🤣

I would probably keep quiet and flog it on…………….and then slate the shit out it!

Anyone wanna buy an S2 Race????? (Kidding)

Ahaha, it's man logic/justification.

Even if it does have flaws you're not gonna start shouting how rubbish it is after dropping 10K on it

No, I’d definitely be calling it out!!!

I totally get people who have the cable rattle are not happy. That would bug the hell out of me if I couldn't find a fix for it and would be enough for me to not love the bike as I do.

probably the fastest it's ever been :D"I bought a van after dragging my SC Heckler down the fast lane of the M11 15 years ago 🤣 , but yes for sure , i'm the same , I just dont trust those carriers , Got a van too , so much more sense

It is a cool looking bike for sure , I am amazed it is not leaning on a Tesla though :Dand those cables look crossed or is it a mirage
Teeth Fear GIF by Beeld en Geluid

Saw my first one on a trail and later had a little bounce around a Northumberland car park on it today. I'm 6'2 (188cm) and it was an S2 so felt a little short reach wise but looks amazing in the flesh.

The suspension felt both firm and very supple in the car park.

They must have more frames than they have parts for and/want to get them sold before Avinox announce their new motor

They have only very few Framesets . Also for complete bikes it is only 400 for Dealer Preorders..

You're saying you have low standards ? :D
SC vpp is not known for being exceptionally great kinematics. They get by primarily by developing shock tunes.
