Unno Mith released with DJI motor, 800Wh battery

You're saying you have low standards ? :D
SC vpp is not known for being exceptionally great kinematics. They get by primarily by developing shock tunes.
I’ve owned probably over 50 bikes in the past 25 years so I know what works for me and what doesn’t.

You may also want to go check which bike the current Men’s World Champion and World Cup winner is on. While you’re there check which bike has won the most Downhill World Cups.

It's not been stated anywhere. I was chatting to a friend who is in the industry and working for a brand that's going to release a new Avinox powered bike next year. Also keep an eye out for a bigger battery that fits like the existing ones 😉
Where was that stated, or is that the current rumor?

I have had/have quite a few sc bikes, including a '25 v10, a '25 heckler SL, '24 5010, '24 nomad, '25 bronson, and a '23 hightower.
I too am a serial bike swapper :D . Four or more per year typically.
What works for goldstone wouldn't work for you or I.
The v10 has very good kinematics, and has very little, if anything, in common with a mith.

I was just being cheeky with my above comment, no offence intended.
You were commenting on the perceived suspension performance of the mith, in reference to setting up the traditional sc vpp kinematics. Which are widely, and in my experience correctly, known as not being ideal in certain conditions.
The run of the mill 5010's, hightowers, and nomads have always been not great on square edged chop, and could be tuned to pedal, or tuned to plow, but rarely did both well.
I perceived that as you were inadvertently commenting that the reason people had a bad experience with the suspension of the mith was that they were not experienced in setting up suspension that had inherent kinematic deficiencies.
Which of course, was not your intent.

Looks like an awesome bike and certainly one of the best looking EMTB out there. The Unno is basically a boutique bike at a very high price. Great to look at but not very practical for about 98% of the people out there. Yes I could afford one, but like many I look for performance AND value over boutique.

Anyone with a S3 size fitted a fox neo post, just wondering what drop you went for does a 200 fit ? Thanks

if not fox neo - what other options have people gone for and sizing on S3 size - I see the factory has a axs

Got my Mith Race yesterday and took it for a first nightride so only first impressions of a 40k loop. Coming from a Canyon Strive:On which I used for 2 years now - what an improvement at every level! The Avinox Motor is smooth as silk, quiet, incredibly powerful and just feels like those 6-cylinder inline engines that BMW used to make. Wow.
What really surprised me is the ride quality and geo of the Unno bike. although on the shorter side of the spectrum (my Canyon has a 2.5cm longer reach.....) I am very balanced "in" the bike and lots of traction on the front wheel in fast, open corners. No washing out of the front wheel, the bike feels very comfortable but still feels very stiff and precise.
No rattling, no squeaking, no noise but the tires grinding. Love it.
And yes - it looks so much better than the Canyon ;)

Im same as you, had the Mith race for a few weeks now and wow what a bike!
I've just come from a Pole Voima which I loved, however this mith is on another level for refinement.
It is silent on the trail and feels taut but very well damped.
I love it.

Can anyone recommend a bike shop in the US where I can purchase an S3 Race model?

Best looking EMTB out there with the best assist system, but it’s basically a “boutique“ build in reality.

Bummer…..any shops in Europe that can sell into the US?

I don’t know about the EU but most shops in the UK have sold out. There were only a few shops with remaining “pre-order” slots for 2026. It’s an extremely limited bike and seems to be selling out as fast as Unno can make them. Your best bet would be to contact a few shops on social media and see what they have and if they’d even be willing to ship to the US. I know my local Unno dealer sold out of the 2025 model in all sizes in like an hour and all of his 2026 allocations have already been pre-sold.

I’m still finding myself thinking about buying a Race but ultimately I chose me Forbidden core which is ace but still fancy the Mith ….🤷‍♀️

Looks like a new Mith colour might be coming soon from this Instagram post at https://www.instagram.com/p/DVa0LukiJX9/ 👀

I saw this else where.

To fellow Mith owners,
Can someone do me a favor and next time you are by your bike see which position the set key is in on your derailleur.
Mine has come from factory in position A.
However the sram website says it should be B?
Thanks

Hi,

can someone comment on Pedal Kickback? I’m just planning my mith build and got lost in the rabbit hole of anti-kickback devices.
So is there substantial benefit or is it just good with a conventional drivetrain?

Thanks

@Rob Rides EMTB put an e13 sidekick on his. Mentions it in the video but would be good to hear more about it? I've never had a VPP bike so i am concerned about the pedal kickback too

I wanted to buy a mith last year but haven't found one. So I bought the new bullit instead. Now there are several Mith available in Switzerland. I went to a Shop to try one out, fell in love and immediately took it home. Suspension setup was easier than on my Bullit X0. The dji feels like so much more Power. It's unbelievable. Bike is lighter, playful, yet capable. Battery lasts for ages.. You have to heavily lean forward on steep climbs. Otherwise you have to have serious wheelie skills. 😀🥳
Btw: Race is only 8.5k here. I couldn't justify the 12.3k for the Pro then.

After a few rides on my new Unno Mith Factory, I’m starting to dial in my personal setup and wanted to share my current settings and impressions. Maybe this helps others who are experimenting with their own setup or considering the bike. I Love this bike!/b]

My Current Settings & Impressions of the Unno Mith: I’m slowly finding my personal setup on the Unno – and the bike is already giving me an incredible amount of fun.

About Me: Riding MTBs for ~25 years, experience from alpine crossings to marathon races, rode Lake Garda classics (Altissimo, Tremalzo …) back in the Moser‑guide era without a motor, solid riding technique but not a “mega‑technician”, enjoy climbing and descending but no black trails anymore, the Unno is definitely more capable than I am – and that’s perfectly fine.

Setup (bold = adjusted by me):
Tires – Front 1.5 bar, Rear 1.7 bar.
Fork – 90 PSI: HSR 6/8, LSR 8/12, HSC 4/8, LSC 10/16.
Shock – 200 PSI: HSR 3/8, LSR 8/16, HSC 1/8, LSC 5/16.
Ergonomics – Saddle height 73.5 cm, handlebar width 740 mm (cut down).

Ride Impressions:
Suspension: Shock no longer sits too deep in the travel, very sensitive initial response, fork weight noticeable but difference to a 38 still unclear, no leaks, shorter handlebar feels much better, many riders in my opinion use bars that are too wide.

Avinox M1 Motor: Very strong yet sensitive support, Eco mode tuned so I still have to work but climb well, Eco consumption around 1.2–2% per km in off‑road terrain, other modes on default, slight rattling on descents but not annoying, 800 Wh battery is plenty for everything I ride, touchscreen is genuinely fun to use, software feels extremely well‑tuned and natural.

Brakes – Cura 4: A bit diva‑like, switched to Galfer organic pads → noticeably better braking power, slight rubbing in the front likely self‑correcting, very little clearance between pads and rotor which can be annoying, pistons were sticky but cleaned front and rear → now moving freely.

Drivetrain: SRAM + motor = extremely strong, shifts under load without issues, very smooth shifting, shifting without pedaling is a real highlight.

Frame & Overall Ride Feel: Bike feels extremely safe and controlled, root carpets and small drops are no problem (still building confidence), excellent grip, love the rear‑end progression, 22.4 kg is great for this category, extra weight compared to the Levo SL is noticeable but downhill it’s actually a plus.

Conclusion: The most expensive bike I’ve ever owned, and also the best. I’m still getting used to it, but the Unno is already an absolute blast to ride.
