I contacted Chili today, she already ordered 40 pcs. of the V3 display at Bafang. Once available, I would offer to collect oders from Europe DIY community and do a combined order if financially attractive.

No this is documented in the firmware code. No option to be changed in BESST tool. You need a new firmware.

Guys, does your sw controller version has a number that matches your motor voltage?
On my side, I was supposed to have a 43V motor but I have : CRX30P3615E102003.3
It seems I have a 36v motor

The problem is that lithium batteries can be destroyed if they are discharged to low. It is a religious agruement as to how low you can go but everyone agrees that if you cross the line you get to buy a new battery.
