But have you disassemble it from the bracket?
There are 6 bolts in total, and you need to disassemble the entire bracket.

Then torque them (no need for torque wrench. Just use force, and your judgement)

Clean everything (battery side and plug at the bracket).

If you have wear, then the bracket and battery came loose and with every ride, it just wear...

Just dissassemble the entire unit
Clean everything up
Apply dielectric grease
Torque using locktite
Try both batteries

(Check lower latch for any wear or breakage).

Putting dialectric grease on the actual terminal pins is counterproductive. By all means carefully apply a little BETWEEN the pins...although that should not be necessary unless the connector gets water ingress. The mating between male and female connectors should be clean and thats all. The connector design and materials used are designed to provide a firm connection and they dont need any other additives. No male female connection is going to survive long if the connection is not secure and movement free...........it is battery movement that has created the OPs issue. If he has now fixed the movement problem there is no reason for any replacement connector to similarly fail.

What you say is correct for dielectric greases. However, the Liqui Moly terminal grease that I use is not dielectric, according to the description: "Prevents leakage currents and reduces contact resistance. Especially for battery terminals and connections as well as plug connections in vehicle electronics."

It can therefore also be applied to the connections without having any negative influences on the connections (e.g. increasing the contact resistance). This is intended to protect the contact point from moisture in order to reduce oxidation or corrosion of the contact surfaces. Even with a very firm connection, undesirable contact resistance can arise over time without terminal grease due to corrosion.
I did this because I occasionally found condensation in the area of the top battery connector after removing the battery, so it is purely a safety measure. So far I've had excellent experiences with it. Now comes the first winter test and we'll see what happens...

I agree about terminal wear with repeated connection/disconnection...............which is why my battery stays in the bike and only removed to check once a year!! For computer connections to an international standard there used to be specifications for the maximum number of connection and disconnections......not sure those specs are still available but even a standard domestic 13 amp 3 pin plug and socket wears out over time ( UK spec)......quicker if it is used for high wattage devices like a kettle or iron. Not heard of the grease you are using..........personally I just use contact cleaner once or maybe twice a year and my bikes have a fully enclosed downtube fixing ( removed from the bottom) and provided the cable grommets on the top or down tube are sealed with grease, no moisture gets in there.
 
Hey folks,
Just replaced the connector itself today, easy task, remove the connector unit as described in the other post for the power cuts… no big deal to remove the 2 cables by pressing the top, its like a small switch and after that, replace the part itself.
Unfortunately I can’t ride the next few days to test if it fixed my issue but by comparing the parts itself side by side, the differnce is hugh, it should be better for sure :)

fwiw, I had some connection issues but put a small amount of conductive grease on the terminals (different to non conducting dielectric grease) as a quick fix around 6 months ago and it's been fine since.

I used this stuff

Maybe it will reduce arcing and wear??

Bosch's own battery care instructions advise cleaning the terminals occasionally and giving them a coat of "technical Vaseline"...

quick update on my connector issue...
I went for a ride yesterday and all seems working again, no power cut with the battery that had many the ride before I replaced the connector...
Anyway, the bike switched off once with the other (new) battery but i didnt checked the error in the app... because I was following a mate and just restartet the bike... this just happened once in 3 hours enduro ride... seems its somehow fixed :)
 
Fixed = no cutouts

After closing the battery latch, can you move battery side to side, up and down?
That is all tight with no movement… next time, if it happen again, I’ll check straight the app… had some g sensor and motor errors when a Bosch store checked the logs, so maybe there is another issue as well
 
quick update, I had 4 rides after the connector replacement with several battery swaps... around 7-8hours riding and no issues anymore.
Happy with the outcome :)


update 28.12... still no issues anymore, several rides and all is as it should be :)

I recently had an error , orange light. I still was able to continue. Until the system stopped completely. The codein the app is 50301A. I thought it would be caused by bad connection. I swapped battery connector with new one. Did not solved it. Measured cable, no problem. Any ideas what cooks be the problem?
