Has anyone else had their chainring come loose due the lockring getting loose please?Seems odd it wasn’t loctite secured. I called rider care uk and they said take in under warranty, is it a known issue?

Great review on the Levo 4. Guessing why they aren't reporting that "rattle" everyone is finding. As my buddy is reporting to me, the battery fit's in the bike, and if not placed in properly, the mounting screw can cause an issue, and the battery can indeed rattle. Wonder if this also is part of the problem. All the same, they love the Gen 4.

When I ordered mine on launch night and was given a date for delivery, it was delayed because there was a shipment that came in and they all had to have the chain ring nut tightened up to a new torque spec and the rear cassette too

I tried swapping to the long chainstay setting. Didn't really expect to notice a difference, since it's not a huge change. It actually is noticeable. I cleared some technical bits I'd been struggling with ever since I went from gen3->gen4. Also the shock goes a bit less deep in its travel, so I guess it's shifting the weight bias even more forward. Very noticeable compared to the gen3 which was always wanting to lift the front wheel on climbs.

Serviced the chain today and added a STFU chain guide while I had the chain apart. My friend swears by it so I figured I’d try it out.

That's what I want to do too. Can you tell me if I need to deflate the shock absorber to lengthen the fork legs?

I'll be curious to hear your review.
The STFU guides are awesome. Honestly I wasn’t really complaining about chain slap, but now that I put the guides on I realize how much noise was there. There’s effectively zero chain noise now. Considering how inexpensive they are; I have no reservations about giving them my full endorsement.

Really love that green…
Think the expert options are the best two colours in the range.

I tried one and couldn't get it to stop rubbing the chain. User error I know. Im usually pretty good at installing things, but I just couldn't find the right position. Does yours rub at all?

Right size chain, efficient mech clutch and don't descend with cassette on smallest cog and you should not need one.

Some frames don’t have enough room. I had one installed on my stumpjumper without issue but I was only able to run one of the two parts on my decoy the second bit was or rubbing the chain or rubbing the seatstays

Thanks I took bike in and now tight to correct spec and loctite added, they also did six week service.

I have finally completed my Sworks Levo, and it turned out exceptionally well. I appreciate the assistance with sizing; the S3 is perfect for my height of 180 cm.

I have also positioned the remote on the right side and "discreetly" secured it along the brake cable.

That white is beautiful. Custom paint?
Why the S3 ? Same height as you and looking at a S4

Guys, what do you have on your TCU display? How many pages, fields, etc., and any recommendations?

Also, what split do you have your eco, trail, and turbo at? Any recommendations for the shuttle, responsiveness, and overrun?

They should have did the frame only in white instead of Turd Brown Bowling Ball! That white looks so good!

My motor had a rattle and it was replaced under warranty. The new motor is rattle free
My Gen 4 levo has developed a motor noise or rattle. It is noticible when I roll the bike backwards, as many have experienced but now I get the noise riding forward, it is intermittent in nature.
Is this a known factory warantee issue that my Dealer can ask Specialized to replace at no cost (in your experience)?

According to my LBS It was a tough battle to get it warrantied. Specialized kept saying it was normal. finally they gave in and approved the replacement

Built mine up from the Frameset, coming from a Large Full Fat Kenevo on 29ers to this one. Choosing between s3-s4 was pretty hard for me at 177cm. But in the end s4 is almost exactly the size as my 2021 rocky mountain slayer..

170mm EXT Era V2 Fork
175mm reverb axs
11s wired sram shifting

Clocks in at 24.0kg with pedals but without any SWATage.

I currently run it in Long and High @0.0deg headset but consider making it slacker. Will try the link chip first, let's see.
Bike rides pretty good, very silent motor, chain, cables etc.

Starting to appreciate the big down tube now that the wet season starts again - integrated mud guard 😜

Are you running a progressive spring on the shock? The new levo suspension has a progressive rate of 12%. It should suck for coil shocks. That’s why the stock shock is so progressive, to prevent huge bottom outs.
