Levo Gen 4 Specialized Gen 4 Levo - Official Thread

Anyone knows the shock stroke of the Gen4?
I would like to calculate the rising rate of the linkage and would need the exact shock stroke. Thank you...
If someone is interested, you could help me with the exact lengths of the shown dimensions.
I use the picture, which is relatively accurate, but of course the exact lengths would provide a more precise result...

When comparing power to DJI, the levo is sucking the nipple closest to the rectum......

The power arguments are so funny... Above 750 watts /100nm of assist you aren't really MTBing... The ever increasing power creep only leads one place... new regulations for eMTBs. I mean how many riders on this site can hold 300 watts for 30-45mins, let alone 500+ on a MTB? More power will only leads to bad things.

…and using all that power uses loads of battery power, which leads to needing bigger and heavier batteries! Can’t win!

Luckily for me the gen4 has a big battery, I’ll keep plodding around in like 20% and go for miles !

Hey guys is there maybe a full geo cheat sheet for the gen 4, like there is this one(attached) for the gen 3?

After the first ride, some conclusions:

Today I went out to test fuel consumption for the La Rioja Bike Race. I rode with low fuel assistance settings, mainly MICROTUNE 20/20 and 30/30, with moments of 10/10 and 40/40.

It consumed 46% of fuel over 30.5 km and 1,300 m of elevation gain.
With a little effort, you can ride 3,000 m.
GOOD FUEL CONSUMPTION.

I also liked that it has very little friction and you can ride very well at 10/10 without overloading the patellar tendon in your knees, something that did happen with the previous Brose.

The display and the new assistance options are fantastic.

I was much more surprised by the naturalness and smoothness of the engine than by the power.

But what really impressed me was the bike going downhill—VERY GOOD! Agile, fast, intuitive, but VERY WELL PLANNED, the rear suspension is brilliant.
It feels greedy but doesn't bottom out, reminiscent of a Kenevo much more than the previous Levos.

Those looking to upgrade their Levos should have no doubts, this bike is much better downhill than the Gen3s, there's no comparison!

I haven't touched the stock setup: centered steering, low bottom bracket, and short chainstays. The balance achieved with such short chainstays is surprising!

The ride was 100% enduro.

Beautiful build, and impressive range from the bike 💪, what is your weight btw and could you post the part of the app where the time in mode circular graph is shown. ✌️

I’ve just realised it doesn’t go into the detail of showing reach changes etc, seat post angle etc that will all move with height changes.

But I think it shows enough for most.
Yeah I have seen this chart before, but forgot it was there, like u say I was missing the other numbers also, I thought maybe Spesh did a similar chart with all the details, will have to satisfy with what is, thanks. ✌️

Is there a USB-C output on the gen 4? A small electric pump would probably fit nicely in the SWAT bag for emergency use, but it would be a bummer if it was low on battery the one time that you actually need it...

Hey looking at the tech book there is one on the right side(inside of frame) of the display. One pic depicts a lightning/data symbol, the other an USB cable to a computer, so not sure if it's capable of charging also or it's just for data upload/download(updates only by dealer I guess).Screenshot_20250509_150623_Samsung Internet.jpgScreenshot_20250509_150729_Samsung Internet.jpg

I think you're right. Strange they haven't included a USB-C port for charging, that's a miss.

Based on this data (and some angles I took from the picture) I got this:

Curious, if coil shock fans will be satisfied with the low progression...
Doesnt matter what shock you running if its not adjusted properly. the genie felt harsh until i got the compression setting correct at 7 turn out (expert). not 6. one click can make all the difference. I will say that i replaced my fox on gen3 with vivid ultimate tuned for the levo and the bike was much smoother over small bumbs. I was going to swap it out but i got the genie working just as well. Not feeling the need for a coil especially because its hard to get the right spring rate, weighs more and costs more for questionable gains.

new tariff surcharge of $300 in usa. Interesting that they did not appy it directly to the price. Making it a surcharge at check out allows for easy changes. Not a bad thing imo, lets remember the gen3 expert was 11k 4 years ago.

It's finished, photos attached.

Temporary single-casing tires like the ones used on AM Flow and NO PEDAL.

But it has a 34.9 mm dropper post and 185 mm travel.
2 mm discs and Hope T4V4.

Weight: 22.130 kg with 840W battery.

The 600W battery is not yet available.

Nice setup! I have an S3 frameset on order. Has anyone heard of the timing for delivery of the S-works frame sets to the USA? It has been mentioned to be late May but my dealer has no information or update?

I got my new Gen4 yesterday. The chain stay setting is set at short. I cant really see if the rear shock is set at high or low. What is stock usually? Anyone have a pic to verify what mines set at?

Shock is in the low position and if you change the chain stay to the long setting it will lower the bottom bracket by 12mm

How do I make this bigger so my old man eyes can see it?

If you wear a Garmin watch and it has an eBike activity mode, the watch can pair with the Levo 4 and display data such as battery status, range, speed, timer, etc. So sometimes, I find it easier just to hold my wrist up and glance at my watch.

Note - Garmin decided to display the battery status as a battery icon with a bright green bar, the length of which proportionally indicates remaining charge - not the percentage number that the MasterMind displays. It's possible to customize Garmin's display but I haven't tried.
