Can't get what to seal? The tyre onto the rim?

if its a new tyre, i run it for a day with a tube to soften the carcus and it should then blow up tubeless ok after that.

Agree with the above. but when installing the tube wet one bead of the tyre with sealant so the rubber sticks to the rim and when you come to remove the tube only remove the dry bead from the other side leaving one side sealed ready for your insert to be fitted. You don't really need to wait a day to sort out a new tyre this way. half an hour or so at 60psi will usually do. wet the other bead when you re-fit that too and it'll seal easier.

(maybe a little less than 60psi if it's a plus tyre)

Old tyre, was tubless but had a miss hap Sunday so thought time for something extra.
I'll get it but thought there'd be something I've missed ere.
