What would be a good tire pressure to start for 96kg rider + 24 kg bike cube stereo hybrid 140 for normal trail ride, 29 rims with 30mm internal width, Nobby nick 2.6 tyres, non tubeless :)

I weight 75kilos I think (guessing). Maybe less now.

I run tubeless, with Cushcore, 30 front 35 rear on 27.5 Maxxis whatever’s.

I ride a couple of miles of tarmac to get to the start of the trails then do 30 miles of trails, singletrack, jumps, rocks and stuff. Up hill down hill, my brakes don’t work so the downhills are fast and I hit the rocks a bit hard.

I only pump the tyres up when I can deform them with my hand so they start at those pressures but gently fo down. I notice little difference I’m not good enough to.

I’m now working on increasing range and being more confident in the corners so may reduce the pressures.

16 front 18 rear on Decoy with 35mm od rims set up tubeless. Feels great with good grip in berms and sketcky downhill sections.
