Ah beg ye, tell us ye went richt through thae puddles while pedalin!First ride on the new bike, and also first ever ride on an ebike. Absolutely loved it! Did 20 miles with 1400ft of climbing and got home feeling as fresh as when I left, which is mad as I'm usually pooped by the time I get home.
Still need to tweak the suspension a little bit and change the stock grips but otherwise I couldn't be happier with the bike.

I’ve been fascinated by the saguaro cacti here in the Sonora desert. Occasionally my anthropomorphic tendencies see things in them that reflect my current state of mind. Some examples -
me as I headed out on yesterday’s ride on the Competitive Track at White Tank Mtn Park

me trying to deal with boulders, drops, and steep/sharp uphill switchbacks on the “tech” and “pro” sections

Anyone ready for a second lap?

About four months early with the shorts .Got out to Woodhill Bike Park (Trail Centre for you UK lot) in the weekend with my eldest and @BigNotSoBadBen and despite the fact that it's now mid-summer, it was cold, windy and wet. It never got above 18deg C. Shocking!

KpH or MpH?Im getting a fluorescent vest with 70 on back for cycling and skiing.
Yes I could shift back in the day dead slow and stop now. Remember kind of racing a snow boarder one day he just had the edge and i wasn't prepared to go any faster , only 60 then. . Big fearty now especially if there's folk behind me. Off to Serre Chevalier on Sunday so hopefully survive. Billy no mates as usual.KpH or MpH?
I'd have been done for speeding even if it was MpH in my younger days on skis. I once averaged 42mph over 6 km in one race...
Be carefull, looks like he has his pants down…..
