Pic of the Day

Replaced the fox40 with the ZEB select on the Kenevo, did a ride in the morning. To be honest, if i was blind testing this cheapest ZEB against my latest fox 38 with X2 damper, i couldn't tell them apart.

This confirms my feelings i had, suspension setups, different brands, are very subjective topics. The only thing i think anyone can feel, if they try, double crown forks are much much stiffer, compered to single crown ones.

6% left from an 500Wh battery. (463Wh according to BLevo (of course spec app report 100% health))

Soooo many of the bikes i see on here seem sooooooo CLEAN! Mine has a dusty appearance even after I rinse it off. I just rinse and clean the drivetrain and suspension

Thanks for the comment!
As I said, I'm an ambassador and its awesome to get prototype/custom stuff but it's still a job and so I have to wash it, wax it and degrease then regrease it every 2 to 3 rides so it looks like this for everyone to see and for photos etc. 👍🏻😄

Is it worth doing that?

When you find an old no longer used trail in the woods, and after dragging the bike over various fallen trees for a good half mile or so you realise you can't go any further as the trail takes a steep rocky uphill route blocked by a large fallen tree (behind me, not in pic), and that no way is a bike going to get up it. Which is why I'm on foot checking out if it's passable (it might be on foot with some clambering) and looking down on my bike when I took the pic.

Like me last week at Tore of Troup if you throw in some cow xxxx

Exhausting (de-)tour on the weekend. Construction work on a gas pipeline with the only bridge in the small valley closed. They missed closing one of the official paths nearby resulting in uphill and steep downhill, finding myself at the bridge fully fenced and locked with no options to pass the small stream. So back up the hill much further than before. Pushing the bike uphill and passing overgrown barb wired handlebar wide paths. Back home shoulders hurt from all that bike pushing, even using the motor assistance. What a fukk!

Absolutely impressive how Goggle Lens can translate text in such pics!

We've had a good summer in my area hardly any rain. Changing soon I'm off to Skye for weekend rain forecast.
Apparently it's the warmest summer on record ..with an average temp of 16.?C in the UK
Are you taking the bike Colin ..there's a terrific ride out of Broadford if you would like details ?

Yes I have something in mind but it may end up a road ride if its too wet or rough. . Weather not great. Send me the Broadford ride. Staying in a hut but not allowed to charge batteries etc but they are working on supplying something in the future. Yes been a great summer only had langers on when on bike for the bites and whin bushes, shorts for about 6 weeks now.

New bike day for me
Trek Rail 9 to replace the Rail 5 some gronk stole from my bike carrier in June.
Way overkill for my riding, I tend not to get too rowdy these days but being a superseded model it was heavily discounted, covered mostly by insurance. Being still a bit broken there is no riding for me for another 2 weeks 😥

With a bit of imagination it's a wee beastie crawling up your bone.

I'll take your, "Broken" and trump it with "The LAD Widowmaker". Still got another 10 days of recovery. Then I'll be back on my bike.

If you don't know what I'm talking about. Just Google it.

Oh and BTW. Get your heart checked regularly.
