I do love that you're able to go riding with the wife and still have time for a bit of Cocking.Had exactly the same yesterday riding with wife Angie. Doing our favourite 20 mile Venus Woods loop had toasties at the Cadence Café in Cocking on the South Downs Way.

While sitting there didn't notice that a South Westerly* had picked up and had to use a lot of assistance just to fight the wind getting home.
* that's wind coming from the SW btw![]()
What did they do when you said passing on the right?
He has that grin going downhill which will stay with him for life.

Bargain. Don't bother to wrap itI have a dingy / pacraft in shed yours for £500
Schoolboy error yesterday, did a loop with the homeward leg along the beach into a brutal headwind. Should have gone the other way round.
If you're out in the open, it's surprising the difference a headwind makes !Headwinds don't exist on Ebikes, I always tell my wife that anyway.
Aye like Killin area but never cycled there.Suns out and a day off so out towards Kenknock from Killin. Only did 17 miles as fitness has not turned up yet but really enjoyed being out again.

You've either too much time on your hands , or you really need a good drink. If you're out in the open, it's surprising the difference a headwind makes !
Rode to and from Badminton last night. 30+kph wind.
To Badminton - into wind.

From Badminton - wind behind (stopped recording some of the ride through the garden on the way back hence the tiny differences in range/altitude)

Huge difference in speeds/time taken and calories.
Oh yeah .. it's pic of the day .. the dog was down wind (similar speeds) the day before and picked up overspray ...

That was the warm up, before my run ..You've either too much time on your hands , or you really need a good drink.
G4 is overated I've been told from a very very reliable source@Binhill1 Are you getting a g3 or a g4 ???
G4 is really really nice on the motor front, but for day to day you won't notice any difference.G4 is overated I've been told from a very very reliable source. So be a G3 . I'm not convinced anything else is any better motor wise . Ebike will go forevermore if commuting or you weigh around 70 kg I believe.
I was told g4 be expensive. I had a great spin on gen 2 today and thought do I really need or want a new bike but , no pockets in a shroud .G4 is overated I've been told from a very very reliable source. So be a G3 . I'm not convinced anything else is any better motor wise . Ebike will go forevermore if commuting or you weigh around 70 kg I believe.
I'd say a five mile section on the flat did about 30% of the battery on that ride, definitely noticeable. If you're out in the open, it's surprising the difference a headwind makes !
I haven't looked. Which way ? Was already depleted from the bar run and wasn't full before that.I'd say a five mile section on the flat did about 30% of the battery on that ride, definitely noticeable.
On the clock only 5 and 7 o'clock are classed às a tail wind the rest is a headwind. That's in a helicopter though.I'd say a five mile section on the flat did about 30% of the battery on that ride, definitely noticeable.
BrilliantHaven't done that for a while. Last time I was in one, we had to wait for a plane to land before we were allowed to cross over the runway. My daughter enjoyed flying me around though.
