Hardcore!
Definitely Hardcore socializing. I had to stop a few times for a break.…and needed a nap afterwards. 😉

If you mean the race? 125 teams with 7 athletes for each team. Volunteers, spectators and athletes. A lot of people!🍺🤯

Movie line quote.

Did you know, Putnam, more people are murdered at ninety-two degrees Fahrenheit than any other temperature? I read an article once - lower temperatures, people are easy-going. Over ninety two, it's too hot to move. But just ninety-two, people get irritable.

Having been told that part of the new Downhill section was complete at Kielder( by a main man at Forestry England) ..I was skeptical but needed to see for myself ..( on the old 3 🐕 descent)....
My skepticism was well founded as I saw a digger in action just along from Three Dog Climb and two trail builders at the top of this section confirmed that they had completed 3/4 of the track with work ongoing ...
The intention is to create the longest downhill track in England ( not the UK) ..so while this section is nearing completion there is still months of work to do before that becomes reality.
From what I could see ..(which was limited ) there are some " interesting " rock features ..( which will have cluck cluck options)& huge berms ....looking good .

It's as good as brand new ..they've re-profiled the first part of the 3 dog descent ( as pictured) ..but are digging new dirt all the way down to the road exiting just along from 3dog climb ..its not finished ( still closed off)..but should only be a few weeks if that . I think the idea is to link it into the old orange graded NDH downhill course from the top of Deadwater eventually ..but that is still closed & in disrepair and a lot of work is needed before that becomes a reality ..

Ah ok. Only did 3 dog descent a couple times makes sense to make it longer with the clinb next to the exit

Linking it to the orange is no joke that trail is brutal in parts 🤦‍♂️
