Out in the Cheviots today with @ The Hodge, first time this year I think….it was remarkably dry considering all the rain we’ve had but there were still boggy bits to catch you out.
A few pics of Neil and if you expand the last pic you clearly see the granite block path that runs parallel with the border ridge fence on the English side.

Great no jacket ride in my favourite place to be, stunning vistas ……….oh not to forget a pint of the black stuff in the Rose and Thistle afterwards, cheers Neil.

Pensioners outing up Ben Rinnes plus tea and sandwiches. 13 miles 2 hrs moving time , total time 6 hrs . Trek bike in picture is 7 years old and has had absolutely no TLC and no maintenance . Only money spent was £220 last year on new drive train and brake pads , never missed a beat . Sore knee i still get catched out with Bear trap pedals and that was pushing the bike.

No I don't think Simon would agree . Seat torn forks corroded probably last him another 5 years amazing .

Or it gets to the stage where its in such a state that something fails and causes him an injury

A few snaps from my commute home from work. I live approx 14km from work and try to ride the Haibike a couple of days a week. In the morning, I use paved roads plus a km or so of gravel raod, but in the evening I try to find some more interesting routes. This one is approx 18km and follows the river.

Did collar bone and ribs a couple of years ago I seem to remember. Not in to serious stuff but you don't have to be to fall off. I should have included a pic of his car it's in same condition.

I remember the one in Amsterdam near the train station hundreds of them . I always wondered if it was just a tourist thing .
