Pic of the Day

Had a similar experience just over 3 weeks ago - which resulted in me having broken ribs! Still suffering, although loads better than it was! 3 days before we went to Gran Canaria for the kids October holidays… so the wife was pleased

Front wheel went sideways when on a wooden raised decked path. Fell off a couple of feet to the ground with a thud!

Wish I’d had it on camera 🫣
Gutted for you especially just before a holibob. Glad you're on the mend .
I was lucky the bridge had rails as it was a fair drop into the river from there if not lol.

Looks like a great wee trip Binhill. Did they charge you to stay overnight? I last rode there three years ago but there's been a lot of development since then. I must be overdue another visit (and I have a camper too).

Yes £12 Nobody there but I did pay . The toilets are open 24 /7 as well . Small pump track there as well now . I don't go to man made trails that often so it is always a treat definitely be there again soon its 45 miles from me .Nice and dry as well.

Great info ta. I'm in Helensburgh so it's a fair old drive but doing a mini roadtrip there and a few other places would make it worthwhile. We're also spending a week in Feshiebridge in January so a day trip may be possible then.

I walked a hill there the other week Mullach Clach a Bhlair . Loads of high level land-rover tracks and single tracks to explore for the summer days next year . Your area the same for me a long way away. Only down that area to do some Munros. Think we have a trip to Cairndow planned. Fuel is my killer now camper 20ish mile to gallon . Enjoy Feshiebridge my walking club is at Mill cottage there in December .

A mid morning doctors appointment meant that I couldn't meet up with The EMF & Jaco today ..so took myself up to Kielder at midday for a solo ride.
What a day weather wise ..after the really high winds yesterday today was in complete contrast ..sunny blue skies ..a gentle breeze and really warm..

Good result for you tonight, having a good season ATM.

Wife was off to a "cat party" (don't ask ;) ) with a granddaughter and usual riding buddy was doing a wedding anniversary thing, so went for a solo ride this afternoon. Amazing warm weather for 12th November. Took this pic looking SW to the sun on the sea in the western Solent, Chichester harbour, and the Isle of Wight in the hazy distance. Will be out again tomorrow with my wife on her Rail.

Brief ride yesterday after 5 weeks of no riding due to a death in the family and other commitments.

Up to Rivington, did 15 Miles, 2200ft and 1300 Kcals.

Then I came across a training group! Santa's obviously not happy with the fitness of his helpers!

Boot camp, sent them all the way up to Rivington Pike!

Blackwood, Co Down N Ireland just now

First ride on my new Orbea and it was a truly grand day out amongst the wet, muddy and very leafy trails.

The bike rode beautifully and the RS motor handled everything effortlessly. I was a bit worried that dropping the power - even though its only by 10nm - might have caused some regrets but I needn’t have worried. The EP8 RS is outstanding and will probably only get better as I become more familiar with it and its settings.

Bike handled brilliantly on recommended settings but Ill probably enter tweaking hell over the next few weeks. It’s unavoidable.
