Today's ride pictures. Had a few issues with my chain today :( where it was kind of being sucked upwards into the frame nearest the chainring, thought it was the new chainring offset being out but also I made a makeshift chainring guard and since taking that off it did not happen again.

Wey ya bugger man ..I finally got to ride my ebike at Whinlatter today ..and with a generous tip of the hat to all of the trail centres I've ridden in the North of England and most over the border ..if there is a better one than this ( on an ebike ) then I've yet to ride it ..
Mostly wet & the rocks & roots were as slippery as an eel ..but my god it was magical !
Too short on an ebike just to do the North & South loop once only I did 2x North & 1.5 xSouth ..looping back to do the bottom half of the downhill again where it separates from the black section ( this has deteriorated badly since I was here last ) ..as promoted by the F.C ..Whinlatter puts the Mountain into mountain biking ..
A few pics ..

Can't wait to return ..

Nice ride down to the seaside today - 40.7 miles in 3 hrs with 40% remaining on the Levo SL battery & range extender. Shame there wasn't quite enough to ride home so had to take the train back 😂 The Downs Link from just south of Guildford to Shoreham is worth a go - not too many mountains but plenty of bike👍

That was my first long-distance offroad ride back in 1991. There and back again.

Something different, today I have mostly been servicing the shock on my trail bike. I love this stuff, I'd do it for a living if the money wasn't so bad. You should definitely buy any bike I put up for sale, they're all maintained to nerdland & beyond.
