Pic of the Day

Almost back to super tacky, still a little lingering fall moisture to keep ya honest. Next perfect conditions day i have to go back to a new uphill challenge. Going to take a good session to clean it but i think its there. Psyched to go back now

I was about to ask where this was, and say that it looked a whole lot like my neck of the woods, but discovered I could see your location in your profile. BC definitely has a look.

Here's a short moment in time I shot a few days ago. It lasted only for a couple of minutes before the fog lifted as the sun cracked.

Wow man, super cool effect on that. That moisture can do a lot of great things

Socal, where legends come to ride....
I was shooting for the KOM on the entire 7.4 mile downhill segment, but only got 2nd place. It will require shaving another sixty seconds off my time to take the KOM. Realistically, pushing my limits that far might not be sensible. Nevertheless, Two KOM's, one 2nd place, one 5th place aren't too shabby for a gray hair rider.

Was expecting more of a ride out today but a few things got in the way including a puncture. Without question it was an impact puncture and the 25mm rim has spilt the inner tube. My tubes did look well oversized for the mere 25mm but heyho.

Fall is here. First pic is from yesterday, it was sunny and warm. Second pic is from today, overcast and chilly.

Last week a friend sent a video of a mountain lion coming out of the bushes right along this trail. Spotting one is rare. Getting eaten by one is even rarer. Today it was just deer, vultures, squirrels, and coyote poo.

I'm envious of you Swiss riders after viewing your summertime pics. Riding in that white stuff, though... you gotta be dedicated to do that.

great is it true u can ride the south facing side ie crans, leukerbad all year as mostly snow free ?
yes, in winter you can almost always drive on the south side below 1000m, the best is fully near martigny ...
