Newb hub question........

Could anyone shed some light on something for me please!?

I recently upgraded the front fork to a Lyrik.

I gave the old fork to my buddy. He’s noticed that the fork takes a 15mm through axle but appears to cut for a 20mm hub.

Now....I noticed my hubs appeared to have some sort of black adapter & slotted straight into the Lyrik.

Google is not my friend, but......am I looking at something called Torque Caps?

If I wasn’t so simple....I’d explain it better

Cheers

If I understand you correctly ( not sure what you meant by a 20mm hub!) the fork you sold to your mate is for a boost hub...ie 15mmx110mm. If his bike has non boost hubs ( 100mm) then yes he needs torque caps, assuming they will fit his hub.

Thanks for that, I’ll let him know (y)
Sorry, not the best explanation I’ve ever given! :giggle:
