New CEF69 bafang m510 and bafang m560 and cef50 bafang m820 frames

So, it happens only with RS model (510RS and 560RS) because of CAN communication. Am I right?

? why only RS. all bafang motor have can protocol communication with the original bafang battery.

oh, I thought only RS model uses CAN communication. I just found M510 has different versions. UART version and CAN version.

I was considering this bike with M510RS to order, but if no BMS compatible battery is available by SZZS what would be best choice?
Would it be better to go with M510 UART version? (if ever available)

You are sure (UART and CAN) ? for me bafang is only CAN since several years, only older BBS motors are in UART. In fact i know fewer people use original bafang battery able to communicate with the controller. hard to purchase, expensive, need to use 43V. Mostly use custom or generic battery, whithin communication with controller

firstly i don't think that the frame (CEF69) have any influnce on that ;)

If the question is "most of bafang motors users accept inaccurate battery management ?". personally i don't notice any problem on battery level displayed (M500, M600, M510, etc..). BUT, i mostly return between 20% 30% of battery. may be at this level it decreasing more quickly ? i can't confirm because i'm ofen fully tired at end of exit and i use more motor help. But upper (between 100% and 30%), consumtion are +- linear for me, +- 150M D+ by each 5% with 800 Wh batteries

Mine is on the sea (where ?) since several weeks, normally boat land the 8 july, may be +- 3/4 weeks more to ship to my house i think. With the boat name it's easy to track normally, i have asked to linda, but it don't answer (just "wait"), or she have share in chiness (i don't read) ?

Yes, because its cheap from China to EU if you compare with delivery via Air. ETA in case case around 60-90 days. So I will get in mid\end of Jul.

Vi presento la mia bimba con motore m510 finita dopo 4 mesi tra ordine e spedizione direi fantastica non potevo chiedere di meglio ancora la devo provare perché mi manca il sensore vedremo come si comporta tra salita e discesa

That's crystal clear that the inaccurate battery management does not occur due to the frame itself but due to the battery (no BMS-compatible battery
Good to know, this issue is common with DIY Bafang system, and you guys accept it (meaning this is a minor issue / negligible issue).

Hi All, Sorry i have been overseas for work, Since i did the tests 3D prints and now i see SZZ are sending new linkage from that design, I have recieved it and fitted it can confirm it fits with new Fox Float x2 2026. So finally after year i can ride bike now to work out who else is running M510 with FC4.0 firmware seems they went back to FC3.0, be nice to find the FC4.0 firmware for M510 not RS.

PS i have BBR installed for unlocking speed and will be testing the New Pedalpass from Gian i have in my hands, there is few bugs to iron out, but will be pretty cool to see more bike data on a BLE app connect to Strava, He has alot of exciting things coming.

Also note the bottle battery doesnt fit with a Fox Float X2 2026 (ill get some pics on weekend)

Actually they all do differnet things, K1 Fash is firmware, PedalPass is app based to controller to change settings with other things logged from the Motor and connect to Strava, Simalar to Bafang go but more features, I like on the BBR i can quickly change speed by +++-- on switch so they all do differnet things.

My dpc010 unlocks and locks the speed, it works as a navigator, I can change the engine parameters and I can connect to strava, I don't know what else pedalpass does, maybe it's suitable for those who don't have a display like mine

Im not familar with that screen, I know on the screen the CEF69 DPC030 from this Thread doesnt have the ability to do that. Do you have a CEF69 with DCP010? I know on my Bafang go app you need to navigate to upload that to strava thats useless if you want to ride a trail and upload you dont know where your going half time not to a physical address. I guess you don't need it :)
