Lost screw

Now then …

Anyone know the size of this screw / bolt that managed to drop out of my partner's SLX shifter on the trail ?

i.e M6 15 ?

it’s the one with a red circle drawn around it

Tried a couple of bike shops, no success. They suggested I buy a new shifter, but reluctant to do that when all I need is a screw!

But seen as I'm here ..

Can't seem to find one for the i-spec ev .. presumably the internals are the same as the i-spec, which would be an M5

But obviously the actual screw shape is different on the EV.

I'm not sure if you bought the adapter if that comes with the correct screw ??

M5 x 7mm button head allen bolt

A spare disc rotor bolt should work, but you may need to cut it down a little

Whist you were both answering, I was just cutting down and fitting a bottle cage screw as I found a Reddit post asking the same question

The answer there was an M5 12 button head screw

I measured the actual bolt from an XT clamp version. But guessed the i-spec EV would be the same
