I recently replaced my Gen 2 Levo (well, not technically, since I still need to sell it) with a Gen 3 because I wanted a full-power bike. But damn, the new SL is lit!

Credit where it's due, Specialized took an extra year releasing this thing so that all the levo sl riders can get stronger legs - " two times you" now equals 360 rather that 230 whatevers !

Ok. My SL only has the higher pitched tone that stays consistent but I recently rode another one and it had the lower tone you are talking about. It was strange to hear it as mine doesn’t have it. I wonder if the ones with the lower second tone have a slight issue that’s likely to appear.

I recorded the sound of my LevoSL. New engine next week.

Is this still the same spec one with a Fox 36 on it? Someone mentioned there may a second S-Works with flight attendant. Just wondered what the cost of that was?

Interestingly, the word embargo originates from the latin inebriari bar ire , basically meaning get really pissed in a pub. It was used as "em-bar-go" because all the drunks on the street were put in a pub and the doors were locked. The original lock in.

So now that we have seen some details it is even harder for me to decide for old vs new Levo SL
Apparently there wont be a "cheap" alloy version for now.
Current Levo SL Comp alloy for 4.500€ is a bit too expensive for 2023 in my opinion. New Carbon Comp should be around 6.500€ I would assume. Sounds like the overall better deal to me. What do you think?

I'd say the 2020 SL Comp is a bargain, because it already IS a great package in its first iteration! Who knows how silent the new 1.2 motor really is and if the extra power is that noticeable over the current model.
