Levo - Fork / Shock customisations ?

oh wow thats unlike them they are ussually very good
check out these guys
Fox
they told me they can do a van with the spesh end so no need for a bike yoke.
I also notice the 2019 kenevo comp is fitted with a fox van
I know its an old shock but I really like mine

Agreed, that is really unlike them.... Give them a call and talk to Ian he will sort you out

Thanks and I already called them and was connected to a guy called "Paul". I have had very nice conversations with him regarding what I needed in order to get a better ride, but all what he have promised have been bollocks :( I have a hard time throwing a significant amount of money after a company behaving like this.

I have until now wasted almost 3 weeks trying to communicate with them but its SLOW. I just want a decent coil shock where I can get a spring heavy enough for my body weight - Apparently it is only Fox that care about riders north of 100 kg.........

Upgrading my Revelations to the 2019 160mm Pike spec this week.
My next upgrade will be the rear shock. Very interested in the Cane Creek Set up mentioned in here. What's the expected cost all in for that?

Careful with the Cane Creek, I was warned and today snapped the shaft off at the eye, replacing the existing 8mm shaft with an 8.5mm solves it apparently. I was getting about 162mm travel at axle and running a 180mm Lyrik forks.

Hi, is it possible to change the shaft from 8 to 8,5?
I would be really interested if this is possible for the IL version

I fancied the cane creek, but after reading the potential problems I went for the Ohlins

Please see the attached post as this subject has already been discussed.

Not a good idea to use the Cane Creek Inline Coil shock on your Levo as it only has the 8mm shaft and there is no upgrade path to the 9.5mm shaft for the Cane Creek Inline.

So even if there is a 8,5 upgrade it is still a no go?
I have the cc dbair il mounted now but would prefer a coil version

The only upgrade I am aware of is the 9.5mm one. I just measured my Cane Creek shaft again to check with a digital measuring calliper and it is 9.5mm

Reviving this old thread.
I have a ‘17 Levo with BikeYoke running the 7.5x2 DPX2. I’m wanting to experiment and have another bike here with a DHX2 coil that’s 7.875x2.25. Has anyone run a 2.25 shock to have experience with geo changes? I’m a heavy guy and like the feel of coil but know the Levo leverage curve isn’t the most ideal for coil, but what the hell. I can track down a 650-700lb coil to experiment. Before I spend money on a coil spring or two, I was hoping for feedback. FYI, I’m about 240lbs geared up.

i upgraded my levo2019 expert with a rs monarch plus 3rt 210x60 , and works really better.
what is the best oil for this sock?

Monarch plus rc3 210x60 on levo 2019 , flip chip high , eccentric bearing.
160mm front fork + 0.5° spacer.
27.5 2.8 wheels
. Give me your opinion.
