Kenevo handlebar trail switch

Hello
I have a 2019 Kenvo Comp ,the handle bar switch has stopped working and when I had a close inspection water had got in the PCB behind the switches.It is still under warranty but I haven't got time to take it back to the shop just yet.I have the chance to borrow a mates switch this weekend and next if I want it while I get chance to take it to the shop.My question is are they like the motors and batteries (coded to the bike)or can I just plug it in and it will work

AFAIK no components on bike are coded together, so you can swap batteries, motors, switches, speed sensors, as you wish, no coding needed ...
