I’ll b up for Cannock chase. I already ride there with 2 other levo owners. I’ll try and get some of the off piste lines remembered to if it helps

I’d be happy with Cannock or Dalby. Realise Dalby is out of the way for a lot on this forum but there’s plenty of riding to be done Sheffield way if people were going to stay the night and break the journey up with more riding ?

What about Innerleithen, Glentress, Lakes or Kielder for those of us who live in the North of the UK ;)

I'd be well up for riding Innerleithen and whinlatter sometime, although probably won't be able to fit it in this year.

Apart from the main Brechfa trails I have created some ebike specific trails which should test out your steep uphill technical riding skills. The ebike trails can be ridden in both directions so it will be a bit different to what your used to and double the fun. Short cranks will be essential ;)

Living in Essex these are all new to me and a long way away, however, I’m up for whatever the majority go with and plan to join them all in the coming months

I'll just ride to the Vancouver airport, pack up my bike, fly overnight, unpack my bike, and ride to wherever you guys decide.
Wait... no I won't!:p

There is plenty of accommodation available close to the trails if you want come up the day before? Trails in Wales | Welsh Holiday Cottages | Brechfa Carmarthenshire is less than 1/2 a mile away from the trail start point in Byrgwm.

I am more than happy to guide you around on the Saturday late morning/early afternooon for a ‘pre ride’ as well if you wish?

Sounds good, I’ll take you upon that as and when the ride is confirmed -thanks @Kiwi in Wales

So when’s the next forum ride in Canada? ;)

I get over to Canada reasonably often, although I won't be bringing the ebike due to the issues flying with batteries :( hopefully get out to whistler in September

id be happy to show you boys the off-piste around Dalby sometime, but its not for newbies or inexperienced riders, similar to what Rob was riding in his latest video in Scotland.

Yes please! I'll give you a shout next time I'm in Yorkshire, same offer is open for fod if you're ever down this way

I have a charity run 10th September, but would be interested in a ride out at some point in the future.

Hi all,

The trails in Brechfa are a mixed bag of machine made trails and also man made off piste trails. There is a Black run that it is not really a Black, more a Red with chicken runs around the few small drops that are on the machine made trails.

As I have not ridden with any of you before I want to make sure that everyone who is coming is going to have a good time. I really do not want to take you down a trail that you may feel is beyond your skill set. The bottom line is if you are comfortable on a Red run then you will be fine on all the trails at Brechfa. If you are not comfortable on a Red please let me know in advance so I can plan the route of the ride around this.

Also, do you want an epic long ride that may require a second battery?
Just let me know so I can build into the route a divert back to the car park for a ‘Battery Change’ to save you carrying your spare in your pack. Personally, I am not into carrying a pack and place everything I need tools, food, drink etc on my bike.

Like I said in my previous post. I am more than happy to guide you around on the Saturday the 8th, late morning/early afternooon for a ‘pre ride’ as well if you wish?
Just let me know.
See my previous post above re accommodation or just search for Brechfa accom

Let me know below if you're coming and I will update the opening post. This will be the 3rd EMTB Forums group ride. Come meet up with a bunch of friendly riders and explore some new places.

Thanks @Kiwi in Wales for Kindly offering to lead the ride!

I’ll be there. Reds are fine by me.

One battery here too, and it’s a Bosch so 20ish Miles is my limit.

Anyone want to car share? @Dax? I’ll be coming your way regardless. Am I fuck paying to get into Wales...
