looks like mine are all done, take it it’s just the three?

@net wurker is spot on :)

Just go steady.. for the first few ...... minutes ... then say feck it and enjoy it ..

Can feel a bit overwhelming at the start with the lack of knowledge, give it a week and it will all seem like second nature.
Will do buddy? It’s a welcome break from my menopausal wife also??

Hmmm, I may have mislead you. Try the drive-side cover. There is a big ole two-wire connector under one of them. I may have remembered which side it is in a wrongly way.

Agree?I take it the big fat one is the motor to battery connector and the other three are speed sensor display and the dreaded power button ?
Actually, check under the cover on the other side. Mine came with one of the covers off, and there was a big two-wire connector that was unplugged, I guess for shipping.

It wasn't like the one in your picture there.

Alan head ? who is this alan ?? :)

I think they're sadly crappy Phillips screws aren't they ? Maybe they've seen the light and upgraded to torx.
Yes, small Phillips screws, my cover was off and multi plug to motor disconnected. Charge it up first and I hope it all work ?

I’m not holding my breath buddy as I may be in the same boat as you, hope you get sorted soon??

Oh well, it's fun getting intimate with the new bike, eh?
I know I still need to fit invisframe/mudguards and probably mess about with this power switch, the standard spring gave me 30% sag which I thought I’d need a stronger one,the wife’s giving me daggers so best wait till she’s asleep!now where’s those sleeping tablets!?

Could it be that you just weren't charging it long enough to take it out of "factory sleep mode"?

On mine, whether I'm charging in the bike or out of the bike, the charger light and the battery light always go out once it's fully charged.

You had mentioned before about a light still being on after you charged?

Nothing this morning!
Have a new switch on its way over from Commencal.

Bugger ! So theoretically, if you charge the battery on the bike, it charges the battery in the switch at the same time. Maybe .... or it was just co-incidence ..

But in your case, it looks like you have a faulty switch battery so it's not holding power.

EW-SW-100 torn apart. i replaced the battery with another similar one from an RC-car...

battery voltage 3.7v
charging voltage 4.2v

no need to buy this peace of scrap for 80 bucks. just cut it open and put a 5 buck rc-battery.

have fun!

Can you describe colors / pairing of polarity? Possibly I will make the same thing. I hate to beg for Shimano box before each long holiday for emergenecy.

We had a long weekend in TR last week. I had prepared all bike stuff, loaded the emtb into the car and hit the road to Istanbul, I was dreaming 4 days of riding in Istanbul forests. But shit happened again; not possible to switch the bike on :(

I went to electronics shop and bought a simple cell holder for 18650 battery and a battery cell. I cut the switch to half and removed the shitty micro LiPo battery inside. I have soldered 18650 battery holders with correct polarity and made a custom sealed switch body. I glued the cell holder under the switch then insert into the bike.

If 250mAh LiPo battery finishes in 3 weeks at home, let's see how long 2800mAh cell will stand...

I want to find this genius engineer that put a battery into that switch...
