I’m ready to make the change (bike that is!) I currently ride a Trek Marlin 7, but at 63 and having put on the pounds over lockdown and currently at 20st I’m struggling with the hills and it’s outing me off getting the bike out. So I’ve raided the piggy and will sell my Trek - so no surprise my question is…for around £3500 what gravel/hybrid would you recommend? It’ll be mainly country lanes, lots of hills and gravel tracks. So far I’ve been considering the Specialized Turbo Vado 3 650b, the Giant Fathom E+ Pro and the Scott Sub Sport eride 20. I’m also open to any other suggestions.
