New here and to EMTB's. I'm trying to learn all I can about these things. Looking to purchase one in the near future. So far I am leaning towards the Orbea FS models.
I'm 54, 6', and around 198 lbs. I do just basic casual riding around on my regular mountain bike but would like to get into some more trail riding and maybe a little down hill stuff with a full suspension e-bike.

Welcome Chris, you've come to the right place! Orbea make some great bikes consider the Rise if you like the feel of a regular bike but with some assistance. Consider the Wild if you want the full fat experience (and weight!). As you are in the US, consider other makes that might be a bit more accessible - Specialized spring to mind and they do a similar range to Orbea in they have the low power, lightweights and the full fat versions - e.g. Levo/Levo SL

I'm in the N.E. Oregon, Echo area and have been riding those trails so far but I've only had the new bike a week.
I ended up getting an Orbea Wild FS 20. Really loving it so far.
