Fork steerer tube -xl rise m20

So I've just been trying to figure out how long of a steerer tube I would need on a pair of forks.
So far I've discovered the xl frame is 140mm but I can't seem to find the height of the stem unless it's just 35mm

On my XL I'm getting more like 145mm (there is a small cap on top of the head tube) and then at least my stem is 40mm (it's an aftermarket one). So that makes it pretty long, I usually want another 5mm spacer in there, so 190mm min? It makes it way harder to buy takeoffs on Pinkbike! Also made it the first time that I couldn't pull something from my parts bin!

I almost discovered that the hard way but thankfully I checked the measurements just in time to cancel a deal. Thanks for your measurements btw

I think I'm going to get the fork I have in mind and if it doesn't fit I'll just sell it on
