Is anyone here actually a little bit on the heavier side weight wise? I just looked into the leverage curve of the core model which is similar to the druidv2 and dreadnoughtv2 but surprisingly does not get more progressive at the end of the travel. At least the only graph that I found on
vitalmtb only shows 144mm of travel max and the line is pretty straight. Basically the whole line tends to be a little further up in the ratio aspect compared to the druidv2 which means, the air pressure is a bit higher on the core model if it had the same weight. Since it is heavier than the pedal bike, you need even more pressure..
I already had the issue on the pedal bike to go through travel really quickly. Made a lot of changes to pressure/tokens on the 2 shocks I tested so far, the only working solution was a cascade linkage to bring down the ratio a bit to run lower pressure in the shock with added 5mm of stroke on the shock for the progression to run into..
I am at around 95-97kg due to my height. Anyone comparable in here? Is the bottomout for you guys needed on the vivid to make the bike work at all?
