Focus Sam2 6.7 2019, no display

Hi,
Very new here.
I have a 2019 Focus Sam2 6.9 2019
Press the on button and nothing happens, I also have no display (have seen the thread about the display cable in the frame being damaged)
But if I turn the back whee backwards the power button flashes in sequence with how fast the wheel is spinning!
many help would be much appreciated

Check that the connections in the back of the display are firmly in, not just in or nearby. Yes, I know, simple and I'm sure you have already thought to have a look. But are they really "IN".
Could also be a kinked or slighty compressed cable inside the downtube.

I have had both these faults and each gave a similar display problem. I don't recall the wheel spinning issue though, although I never tried it.

I fixed the first one myself, after a one-mile bike push and the thought of another 2 miles push made me look harder! The second took a trip to the dealer for them to diagnose. It was a £7 cable, one week order lead time and £37 warranty charge (because I didn't buy the bike from them and it was cheaper than paying to have the battery out and replaced.

Thanks for the reply, checked the connections into the display, all in there…
Do you think it’s the cable inside the frame then?
is this the cable?
