Unanswered E-Tube App Assist Connection Problems

I've been trying to use the E tube Shimano app to change the motor assist levels on my YT Decoy since my ST Unlocker has had a connection issue after firmware update and it wont work. Keep getting an error. Anybody here ever have any success with this lackluster app? There is nothing disconnected on my bike and it rides just fine.
