That was already hidden there in the previous Bosch software updated a couple of weeks back, but the Edge needs to be on the latest public beta too. (Worked on my Edge MTB)
How do you pair from the Bosch side. I have the Garmin beta firmware on my edge 840 and can now search for a Bosch smart bike in the e-bike sensors options.

On the Garmin it’s says to pair via the flow app but can’t see an obvious option in the flow app?

Thanks.

I can answer my own question. This link explains it.

I’ve 1040 and I installed the beta firmware 31.something and I was not able to pair the bike with Garmin. Maybe some sunny day…
Answering to myself: garmin connection works, with the latest beta firmware.

Hey folks! Did anyone try to go coil for one77? I got my hands on DVO Jade X , thinking about trying it. Did anyone have success story of converting to coil?

Yoke and coil don’t mix too well, but since you’re anyway going to try, go for a shock with a thick shaft.

Jade X is the possible choice. But I see my second bike - commencal meta with very similar suspension design - and it's totally possible to use coil there.

Almost a year with mine using dhx2, and there are no noticeable issues at all. I love it! IMG_4761.webp

2026 DHX2 Factory just fitted. Looking forward to seeing the difference on it this weekend.
I know there’s talk of fitting a coil to clavicle type frames being frowned upon, but I know there’s a couple of guys on this thread that have and have had no problems. Plus, if you go on the Fox site it gives you the maximum length clavicle for the stroke of shock you have and the 177 is well within the recommended length.

How the hell do you keep your bike so clean?! 🫪

Ceramic coating my friend. Plus, it had a good scrub before I fitted the shock. I can’t be doing with working on a dirty bike 🤣

So yesterday I participated in a very local XC race with an emtb category with my Cube one77. Before the race I noticed one Amflow PL pro (avinox M1) and a Mondraker Zendit (avinox M2s), so assumed I had no chance.

Surprisingly, at the end of the 16km course with only 400m of climbing:

1st place: Young and very light guy on a Cube one55 (Gen4 Bosch!)
2nd place: Myself, middle age + middle weight on a Cube one77 (Gen5 with 120Nm update)
3rd place: Middle age, light rider on the Zendit.

The first very steep hill really showed the difference in power, the avinox bikes gained 5-10s on the rest of us over a short 2 minute climb, but for most of the race the 25km/h limit made the difference in power less important on less steep climbs. The final part of the race was a 5 minute uphill, the Zendit went from being hundreds of meters behind me to right on my wheel, I was on the verge of passing out from the sprint while the Zendit rider was putting in minimal effort. But still, skill on the single track prevailed even in a questionable format like emtb XC...

So don't feel too envious of the new bikes being released, there is still plenty of life in the Bosch ones!

congrats for the podium!

I am seriously considering a ONE77 as my first e-bike (looking to purchase locally on Monday, big discount).

I was set on a merida but that has the Shimano ep801 with 85nm max, this isn’t much more and has the 120nm Bosch.

How has everyone’s bike been holding up? Has anyone racked up 5-10 thousands k’s without issue?

Any bike will break without maintenance 👍

IMO it’s solid bike

Great choice, quality, value. Which spec are you looking at. The SLX is a popular option.
