I've had a lot of people on the trail be surprised that my Spectre was an emtb. That slim downtube is deceiving!
Well, it's a DJI bike, where most have been known to get this perception . It's part optical deception as well. The two-tone paint scheme, where the bottom slice of the downtube is painted black draws the eye to only consider the thinner light-color section as the thickness of the downtube.

Ok here’s something I’ve been meaning to bring up. I’ve noticed rust forming in the head of pivot bolt. Perhaps it’s just cosmetic, just not pretty to look at but can anything be done about this?

I miss the days we all used to talk daily. Now we're out just enjoying our Spectres. No long waits for delivery like Forbidden... no Chinese catalogue bikes like Velduro... no waiting for a maybe M2 motor next year.... 99 lucky people.
Really loving the bike!

Anyone have a telum installed? Wondering if there are any fitment issues on a rh-2

Can you post a picture? How are you liking the telum?

Really what the fuss was about was that this bike was way-out-in-front the first DGI bike to come out after the Amflow, and an enduro version to boot. A lot of thread traffic was dealing with the consequences of that motor system: battery efficiency, motor noise, pedal kickback, bash guard, power mode settings and firmware releases, etc..

That there was only 99 frames made the whole "first bike out the gate" thing possible - it was probably all the motors they could get - but this created a shoe-drop supply scarcity that piqued interest (a bit of a marketing genius stroke, but harder to sustain that level of interest, hence the quoted post).

And do understand these bikes are coming out of AP, just like all the rest mentioned. If you can buy a Rogue from a chinese catalog instead of Velduro, do point the way.

Thinking of grabbing one of the preorders in Jan. One thing I was wondering... do you think the 2026 drop will be frame sets again? If it is a complete bike, I unfortunately would be out (unless it was spec'd how I'd build it).

I‘d imagine for the numbers they produce, and they type customer their core is, it makes more $ sense for them to frame only.

99 frames with 2 or 3 price point builds leaves little room for economies of scale, and adds a lot of financial burden.

Good question. Not tried charging it off bike yet! I asked DJI about buying spare batteries and they mentioned that they will be able to be ordered from DJI dealers in the future. No solid date yet, but it’s coming.
Any news about charging battery directly/off the bike ? Is this possible or not? If not does anyone know will it ever be possible?

After couple hours of riding, few of us decided to charge our bikes during snack break. After about 20 minutes, while others saw 4-8% charge added, Spectre added +21% charge. Impressive.

Hmmm ........ Only one with drive side up ? .......... :ROFLMAO:

I have an Ecoflow that I has endless power, due to plugging into my EV. But yeah ...... Love the 1% a minute charging.

Correction: Battery cannot be charged when it is outside the bike. Battery must be connected to internal cabling, controller and motor in order charge. Hopefully future battery firmware will allow external charging.
easy, just buy a 2nd controller, harness and charging port, job done

Anyone able to cop a 600 WH battery and try it out? Wondering how it rides if anyone has been able to switch?

V2 changes... Brake line goes into the chain stay instead of the seat stay and the charge port moved, otherwise I'll have to find my see through glasses.
