Correct. To keep the geometry the same the holes cannot be in the same place.I think I answered my own question. My 29" on the left and the 27" from the web on the right. You can see the 27" axle is lower

Did you ever get a new battery? I'm wondering how the process went in case any of us need to deal with it.Troydon got with DJI same day, and they agreed to send a battery, but I dont know how long it will be til I have it...
Well, it's a DJI bike, where most have been known to get this perception . It's part optical deception as well. The two-tone paint scheme, where the bottom slice of the downtube is painted black draws the eye to only consider the thinner light-color section as the thickness of the downtube.I've had a lot of people on the trail be surprised that my Spectre was an emtb. That slim downtube is deceiving!
Really loving the bike!I miss the days we all used to talk daily. Now we're out just enjoying our Spectres. No long waits for delivery like Forbidden... no Chinese catalogue bikes like Velduro... no waiting for a maybe M2 motor next year.... 99 lucky people.
I’m running a Telum on my MTB and RS181 RH4.Really loving the bike!
Anyone have a telum installed? Wondering if there are any fitment issues on a rh-2
Can you post a picture? How are you liking the telum?I’m running a Telum on my MTB and RS181 RH4.
Really what the fuss was about was that this bike was way-out-in-front the first DGI bike to come out after the Amflow, and an enduro version to boot. A lot of thread traffic was dealing with the consequences of that motor system: battery efficiency, motor noise, pedal kickback, bash guard, power mode settings and firmware releases, etc..I miss the days we all used to talk daily. Now we're out just enjoying our Spectres. No long waits for delivery like Forbidden... no Chinese catalogue bikes like Velduro... no waiting for a maybe M2 motor next year.... 99 lucky people.
I‘d imagine for the numbers they produce, and they type customer their core is, it makes more $ sense for them to frame only.Thinking of grabbing one of the preorders in Jan. One thing I was wondering... do you think the 2026 drop will be frame sets again? If it is a complete bike, I unfortunately would be out (unless it was spec'd how I'd build it).
Any news about charging battery directly/off the bike ? Is this possible or not? If not does anyone know will it ever be possible?Good question. Not tried charging it off bike yet! I asked DJI about buying spare batteries and they mentioned that they will be able to be ordered from DJI dealers in the future. No solid date yet, but it’s coming.
In this case it doesn’t mean anything. Have you tryied?Battery can be charged off the bike. Battery has a power on/off button with charge level indicator.
do you have that bike and can confirm this?Battery can be charged off the bike. Battery has a power on/off button with charge level indicator.
Fast charging is an awesome feature. After couple hours of riding, few of us decided to charge our bikes during snack break. After about 20 minutes, while others saw 4-8% charge added, Spectre added +21% charge. Impressive.

Correction: Battery cannot be charged when it is outside the bike. Battery must be connected to internal cabling, controller and motor in order charge. Hopefully future battery firmware will allow external charging.do you have that bike and can confirm this?
Hmmm ........ Only one with drive side up ?After couple hours of riding, few of us decided to charge our bikes during snack break. After about 20 minutes, while others saw 4-8% charge added, Spectre added +21% charge. Impressive.

easy, just buy a 2nd controller, harness and charging port, job doneCorrection: Battery cannot be charged when it is outside the bike. Battery must be connected to internal cabling, controller and motor in order charge. Hopefully future battery firmware will allow external charging.
It rides more agile and playful, easier to lift the front, what I wanted. 800 Wh battery is now backup.Anyone able to cop a 600 WH battery and try it out? Wondering how it rides if anyone has been able to switch?
Avinox system based on the speed sensor. What is he hiding behind that sweatshirt?![]()
That was me, thanks. I deleted the post after fabricating one and discovering there isn’t enough clearance when using 435 dropout.View attachment 171644
Did someone on here want a Mudguard recommendation?. Im using a lucky nuts on my s180. The spectre should be similar.
