Clicking from headset

I had a clicking from what sounded like the headset, tried stripping and greasing etc and no joy. Chris @berkshire bikes sorted it in seconds, it was actually coming from the battery and a little tape on the edge of the battery where it sits at the front of the frame instantly cured it, it had been driving me nuts!! Thanks Chris..

Thanks, I’ll keep that in the back of my mind.

Last time I heard a crack I dismounted the fork and greased all contact points. It drives me crazy too.

I often hear some bikes before I see the rider due to the cracks their bike does. I don’t know how they can tolerate that ...
