carrying bike in car

Following on from a previous thread here, here's a solution I knocked up in the garage just now, out of some spare conduit and wood. Large level beam holds bike steady, front fork goes into conduit with thru-axle bolt to secure it. Raised up so that fork ends don't scuff on the wood. Beam cut to fit car, second axle attachment to be added when I can try it out for fit.

Quick, easy, and cheap.

I'd like to say it was to turn the bars slightly to help them get into the car, but it's actually because I misplaced the screw on one of the clamps and it's a bit across from the other. When I try it with two bikes, I'll move it if necessary :)
