Bosch motor mounting, is there really a gap built in?

After cleaning and lubing all joints, I finally dropped the motor on a 2020 Cannondale Moterra Neo while trying to locate and kill the incredible creaking that developed down below this past winter. Surprisingly, the mounting hardware on the motor seems to be gapped on one side, which I would assume is to compensate for the varying widths of the supported frames. Does anyone else have this experience or know if that supposition is fact?

Sorry, can't help on that one :-(

If you take the two screws out, you should be able to see if the bracket either has elongated holes by manufacture or if they've just enlarged from being loose ?
