Not going to lie, I could have done with slogging up Hartside today
You tease! Have you confirmed the wattage? Is it 750 or 1000?

That'd be 12,500 watts.1250W per the photo...
That'd be 12,500 watts.
Either that photo is incorrect, or bosch really chose the nuclear option to deal with avinox![]()
For sure, hence why I think that cleaned up photo is incorrect. It probably is 1250.Right... duh, but 1250W would we on par with a 1620W input assuming the battery voltage is 36 and the amperage listed in accurate.
That would place it higher than the M1/M2... just under the M2S that Avinox claimed needed new batteries to sustain the high level of power.
There's no magical battery tech. Semi-solid state is actually what every cell currently is, it's just a marketing term at this point.I mean, I'll download the update for sure, but sheesh, I have only a 600w battery and really do like pedaling.
If they do the power upgrade and release a Semi-solid state battery, they will be back on top.
I can't believe it even needed to be said. People have gotten so fkin stupid and will believe anything they see without any critical thought. Does not bode well for the future.Ignore the AI photo, the original doesn't have the detail so it can't magically get the figures....
Enhance!!!!

I can say that somewhere I read somewhere that someone rode the Bosch updates and said it 'felt as powerful as the Avinox.
That's not something I need or care about. However, it would indicate more than 750w.
Also, that's an incredibly vague source! LOL
I think that gentleman agreement is gone long time ago.Back in 1999, motorbikes manufacturers agreed to a gentleman's agreement to limit their bikes to 300kph
It was just an example of where it’s happened before and I don’t think would be a bad thing. I realise it’s distant memory now… At the time, it felt to most of us luke a good idea.I think that gentleman agreement is gone long time ago.
Lots of R bikes can today do 350 km/t and even more like Kawasaki Ninja H2R 400 km/t
I did this also yesterday. Completely echo what you said. I don't remember it being that slow and tough. You soon get used to the assistance.I rode my ussasisted bike yesterday for the first time in ages. It was really hard work, I'd forgetten how slow they are on the climbs and how deep you have to dig to get up steep stuff. I still enjoyed the ride, and legs feel it this morning... The whole way through the ride, all I kept thinking was an ebike which doubles my power regardless of input and cadence, with a range of 4-5 hours is my perfect ebike, with a boost function for three times output for the odd section, or when I'm goosed at the end of the ride and 'one more run'.
"Everything was better in my days" as my grandmother repeatedly said and so do I todayIt was just an example of where it’s happened before and I don’t think would be a bad thing. I realise it’s distant memory now… At the time, it felt to most of us luke a good idea.
You can’t help but wonder if the spotlight was on, and played a part in the introduction of graduated licensing, around 2012, as the gap between top and bottom was too big to ignore.
The classifications are mosty here already, how they get tightened and sustained and peak, or enforced on access, is the fear.
I sound like my dad. Not trying to.![]()
Just remember that Avinox has a 8x multiplier while Bosch has 4x. Bosch will certainly be more "unnatural" when they release the next power update since the difference between what you think the motor will do and what it actually does will be amplified. However, Bosch’s superior torque-sensor calibration provides a natural control on technical trails that Avinox’s brute force simply can't match.
I believe the bosch 4x will become 6x. Obviously nothing 100% till its officially announcedJust remember that Avinox has a 8x multiplier while Bosch has 4x. Can you share at least what brings you to that belief? I have not found any shred of evidence which would indicate increase from 4x to 6x.I believe the bosch 4x will become 6x. Obviously nothing 100% till its officially announced
numerous leaks and videos covering the 120nm update mention 600% support will be coming as well. Also, there is no evidence of any of the update stats. Its all rumor till announced. Enough people are saying the same thing though (120nm) which includes the 600% support to say there is some truth to itCan you share at least what brings you to that belief? Naturalness isn’t about the multiplier; it’s about sensor logic. Avinox relies heavily on cadence, often feeling like a 'throttle at your feet.' Bosch is infinitely more connected to the rider because it’s strictly torque-driven, mirroring your leg pressure 1,000 times per second. Even with 900W, Bosch stays an extension of your body, not just a motor that spins when you do.Just remember that Avinox has a 8x multiplier while Bosch has 4x.
