with firmware 14F801010.1 power decrease under 30%, with firmware 14F802010.1 under 10%

Quick review of my first round with new M510 V2 today. I‘m really happily surprised, looks like Bafang finally can compete with the big brands in regards of motor behavior. No cutouts, and a very natural feeling, translating Your pedal input into power assist. They renamed the 5 modes to Eco / Trail / Sport / Sport+ / Boost. I used Sport and Sport + today mostly, and even at really steep climbs You get enough assist in Sport mode if You increase pedal force. I like it. Noise level unchanged. I think they changed the torque sensor, the Calories counter is back on my new DP C245 display. The handlebar controll unit is nice and slim. Overall, I‘m happy!

So in V1 I can only change the torque sensor and make V2?

It‘s called a sprag bearing / clutch, operating like the rear hub freewheel, but different technical solution. I doubt that this may cause a „knocking“ noise.

Chili said it can, but no stock for FC 2.0 controller. Or maybe if anyone have close connection to Bafang person can confirm again.

Who knows the exact name (partnumber) of the controller in version 2? As I know from the M600, the new controller will be available for sale in a while.

Flash with old Besst not Besst Pro. After flashed succeed U can tuned parameter setting via Besst Pro.

Work but made me lost the assist. I thought motor was dead after flashing that time. Than next day I reflashed with old Besst than recalibrate it works again. Thrilling experienced hahaha...

U can download DP C245 manual. It said DP C245 equipped with Bluetooth 5.1 can be connected to the Bafang Go+ APP

If you do some trial things, such as jumping on the spot with the brakes applied, it might be worth increasing the startup angle so as not to put too much strain on the motor and brakes.

Is this new M510 v2 the same as FC 02 ? or a different new model ? Whats this motor designation sticker reads? This new renamed 5 new modes are probably software updates or Is there a change in the hardware? Like the torque sensor?
