I run Maxxis Assegai 29 2.6 WT 3CT/EXO/TR in the front and Maxxis DHRII 29 2.6 3CT/EXO/TR in the rear. I ride Northern CA where it can be steep, dry, and loose. The Assegai is super grippy and hooks up quickly while the DHRII has a small slide until it transitions to the outer lugs. I ran Assegai front and rear for a while but that combo rolls really slowly.

Thanks for the reply. Did the tribal stickers come with the bike from specialized? I have a scratch or two that those would be great to cover them.

Not from specialized. Its AMS frame guard. They have tons of different patterns. It's a thick PVC material and is totally removable if needed.

Here is a picture of AMS on .y
