@Amflow_Support

Can the shock yoke be fitted upside-down so the shock bolt is accessible from the top?
This would make removal and fitting easier.
Good day, Mr.Entonox.

Thank you for contacting Amflow Support!

Currently, we advise against fitting the shock yoke upside-down as structural integrity may be compromised resulting from such action, causing potential riding hazard. To ensure the geometrical integrity and most importantly, your riding safety, please refrain from any and all refitting operation that may compromise the structural integrity of the bike.

Thank you for your understanding and support!

Hi Amflow support team,
I’m using an Osmo Action 4 with the Avinox system on my bike. The camera connects successfully and appears on the display as “Osmo Action4-XXXX,” and the camera icon also shows up on the HUD.
However, I cannot start or stop recording from the bike display or remote. Touching the camera icon does not respond, and the Bluetooth Remote Control option on the camera remains inactive.
Both the Avinox system and the camera are running the latest firmware, and I have already tried resetting the Bluetooth connections and reconnecting the camera.
Does the Avinox system currently support remote control of the Osmo Action 4, or is remote control only supported with newer models like the Action 5 Pro?
Thank you for your help.

Hi, If i download the the .fit file from Strava generated from the bike and tried to upload to Garmin Connect the maps shows an erratic drawing always in the same direction, the rest of the data seems correct except the max speed but the track don't,

The .gpx file fails to upload.

Has anyone face something like this before?

Thank you!

Good day, Mr.Sergey.

Thank you for your attention on Amflow products!
As much as we understand your request for the range extender, we are currently not able to offer you an official choice for such need, and please be advised that any and all third-party products come with potential hazards that may compromise riding safety.
For further information on future product development, please stay tuned at Amflow official account.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
If my knowledge and education on the subject are high enough.
Can I use third-party solutions?

Fully agree. I LOVE my Amflow, and have said that I wouldn’t ride any other motor platform. But others will indeed catch up. The deciding factor on whatever bike I get next will be exactly that: if a Range Extender is available. The Amflow simply uses too much juice for our bigger adventures in the Tetons and Colorado. Or to use as a bike-packing platform.

Hi, I downloaded the ride data from the Avinox display—these are .proto files. How do I convert them to .gpx, .fit, or .xml? I assume the software can handle that so I can upload them to Strava... Thanks.

Sync your rides directly to Strava through Avinox app. No need to download and upload files.

Any update on Frame bag availability?
Still not available on the website and your last post on this was 5 months ago!

I was helping a friend replace his display because the touch feature stopped working after a pressure wash. After installing the new display, I wasn’t able to pair the two controllers. I tried several times—the display recognizes them, but when I press to pair, it attempts the process and then shows an error message.

I reset all the data and tried again. The left controller paired successfully, but the right one still isn’t working. I installed a new battery in the controller, but it still won’t pair. I reset the data again, but there was still no success with the right-side controller.

Any ideas?

Question regarding motor replacement for Amflow_Support :

I'm getting a new motor because mine is defective. The mechanical installation of the new motor isn't difficult, but I'm wondering if the new motor with its new serial number will simply work, or if activation, unlocking, or something similar will be necessary?
And if so, can I do it myself, or is it only possible at the dealer?

kr, stefan

Hi, @Amflow_Support
I ran into an issue with my Amflow bike and I’m a bit stuck.

I connected my bike to the app, but later I accidentally deleted my account without unpairing the bike first. Now the account seems to be stuck in a “Deleting account…” state.

Because of this:
  • I can’t log back into the original account
  • I can’t pair the bike with a new account
  • I keep getting: “Pairing failed. Log in to your linked account and unpair bike”
So right now the bike is basically locked to an account I no longer have access to.

Has anyone had a similar issue?
Is there any way to reset or release the bike from that account?

I already contacted support but no response yet, so I’d really appreciate any help.

Thanks 🙏

Reach out to your dealer so they can validate bike is not stolen, and can reset your account.

Is still not that easy, I reach out to dealer but he also have a problem with contact to avinox... :( I was trying for myself to solve the problem and I was leave the message in after-sale support - they registred my account again so now I can log in into the mobile app but still cannot pair the bike because of error that account is currently in use by other account - LOL - so I basically switch from one problem to second one.. :/ definitely it's a bug in here..

Hi, I have an Amflow PL and it keeps switching back on. I have done a hard reset, taken out screen and checked. Calibrated. Any other ideas. Thanks

Almost a month without an Amflow response... must be bust prepping for the new release?!

It's been asked and never answered, and I'm sure with all the new bikes about to be sold in the US buyers will take it into consideration to/not to buy... when will there be an online store for the US market?

I had this recently, had to drop motor and clean every connection with electrical contact cleaner then worked after. If you bought it from a local shop I'd get them to take it as it could also be a broken harness etc

Dear Sir/Madam, good afternoon!

I have a PL model and recently I have been witnessing several reports of defects in the humidity control pods. I have seen reports of some opened pods where it is possible to verify that there is no good seal on the lid, appearing to be just a heated fitting forming an uneven weld, which has caused moisture to enter even with light rain. What are you doing about this? Will the controllers in the new M2 motor also be updated in this regard?

Best regards!

When setting the max torque in the custom assist modes, is it possible to move the starting point of the motor output to be further along the x-axis? For example, see my red line:

This would mean the motor remains off completely until more cyclist torque is applied.

Or must the motor output always start from the 0,0 position?

There is no option far what you want to do. I also think you wouldn't like it because the amflow with motor off rides like a brick.

I have literally just had to do the exact same thing due to bike switching itself on. Cleaning all connections appears to have worked.

Hello. Since the Avinox motor knows the power that the rider pushes at any given moment, is it possible to broadcast that to an external GPS? I can't find any power sensor when scanning from my GPS, neither BLE nor ANT+.

Thanks.
