Amflow Customer Support team is here!Amflow Support questions only please

Me too. Since the main firmware update recently I have had to update about 6 times for an “inserted device”. I don’t have a SIM card, camera, watch or anything else. I have been doing the updates but it just happened again today. Hopefully someone from Amflow can chime in. Is something really being updated or is this a bug?
Yep, same for me, I contacted support and apparently they fixed it and it should not request the update for the same software version now, however I have just seen a update for a new version - 01.03.120 - but cannot find any release notes on this version - has anyone installed this update ?

Is the Amflow Customer support team still here? Have they been kidnapped? Some call the police....
Just contact them on their website. They literally respond instantly even after hours. I hit them up last night for some spare bolts and it was after their working hours and immediately was helped.

They literally have one of the best help lines in the game from my experience. I’ve hit them up for random stuff several times now and it was always instant and a few times after hours.

Same here, BUT...pretty sure it's now AI in the first instance, if you argue with it you'll get a human response......later

Yeah first response is ai but then you get a human pretty much right away. I was messaging their website chat last night like 11pm on a Friday to order new battery bolts. Sent me a schematic to make sure I’m getting what I want and everything. Was super quick and easy.

I also posted about the axle issue on fb and they messengered me right away to help me with that on fb messenger.

I inquired about the axs cable and they immediately offered to sell me one on their website chat.

I’ve literally had nothing but great experiences with their customer service. Much better than other companies I’ve dealt with. It’s cool they are even on here and fb trying to help out when they can.

Hi,
Since I've owned this bike, I've had problems with the rear brake. It repeatedly starts vibrating intensely – so much so that the vibrations are clearly noticeable throughout the frame, all the way to the handlebars.I've already tried different brake pads and rotors, unfortunately without success. The vibrations and the associated noises continue to occur regularly. I've owned many mountain bikes, but I've never encountered a problem like this before.
I took a closer look at the brake mount. I noticed (see photos) that the carbon part and the metal threaded part aren't flush. As a result, the +23 brake adapter has a very small contact area, which likely reduces its stability and contributes to the vibrations. For comparison, I checked other bikes, including my Santa Cruz Hightower. On that bike, the carbon part and the metal threaded part are perfectly flush, giving the brake adapter a significantly larger contact area and preventing comparable vibrations.
Does anyone have photos of this area on their bike so I can compare mine? Is the condition of my bike normal, or is it actually a manufacturing defect?

Hi, If i download the the .fit file from Strava generated from the bike and tried to upload to Garmin Connect the maps shows an erratic drawing always in the same direction, the rest of the data seems correct except the max speed but the track don't,

I just saw your post. Sorry for the late reply.
The problem seems to be that your Fit file contains invalid GPS coordinates of 0/0. The images show “trips” at longitude=0 and latitude=0.

So: poor GPS reception and an incorrect recording: Instead of null/null (nil/nil), 0/0 was recorded.

The .gpx file fails to upload.

Has anyone face something like this before?

Thank you!

I think the fix for this it's that, wait a bit for the lock of the gps and started the track being stopped not moving.

Thank you for the reply.

Hi @Amflow_Support I'm considering purchasing a PX in Australia, but I have a couple of questions:

1. I often travel to New Zealand to ride, would I be able to purchase a 700wh battery in NZ so I can take my bike with me (with no battery) and have a battery waiting for me in NZ?

2. Is it possible to install a Rockshox Vivid air shock on a large Amflow PX?

3. What is the official weight of a large PX non-pro model?

Thanks

Dear customer, the torque value for tightening the stem should be between 5-8 Nm. Could you please confirm if you have used 5 Nm? We recommend trying 8 Nm to see if that resolves the issue. If you still experience problems with tightening at 8 Nm, please contact the store where you purchased the bike for further assistance. View attachment 152764

Does anyone know if 8nm is still the correct advice?

My stem has started to slip after 1 year of riding fine. My stem says on the rear 5-6nm, but here I see Amflow suggesting 8nm.

Thanks!

Thanks! That’s super interesting. My manual (and stem) both say 5-6nm. I’ll add a photo if I remember tomorrow.

I’ll try it up at 8nm, though. I’m fed up of it slipping mid ride!

Hi @Amflow_Support,
I have a question regarding your fast charger:
As I am often on camping grounds where current is limited to 6A I would like to know, if your fast charger will still charge the battery, but with only 6A (???) or if I would need to buy an additional slow charger ?
Thanks

i think this is not a problem, because 6A & 230V are enough . .

the amflow charger only draws approx. 500W (which is approx. 2,5A & 230V)

If that doesn't hold it, try anti slip carbon paste.

After 9 months and easily 10-12 slips, I bought a new stem.

Not sure why the Amflow stem has a tendency to slip as the mating surface is not massively different to other stems.

A small tweak to the left or right was annoying but no big deal. The deal breaker was a nearly 45° bar twist on a steep DH track, which could easily have resulted in a crash.

Anyone know the details in what appears to be a newly released firmware version for the PL? I’m on 01.03.01.10 and want to know what changes are in the update before installing.

Latest officially available release notes are still for 2026.04.09. But since they hide some nasty surprises like disabling functionality of third party range extenders under formulations like "Added support for battery safety protection strategies" I won't update until they really add some essential stuff. Never touch a running system.

A good bike shop with the Park Took DT-5.2 or similar disk mount facing tool should be able to sort those and get them flush/aligned for you.

Maybe even the shop you purchased it from could do it?

Doh, I just realized it’s offering to update an “inserted accessory”. I wonder what that could be? The AXS stuff is up to date.
