Hi Gigs~ Hearing that you 're facing some trouble with the IoT SIM card on Amflow PL Carbon Pro and the network wasn't great. We hope the following tips can help you:

Currently, we do not support the use of IoT SIM cards, and we suggest that if you're planning to ride long-term in your current country, it's best to avoid using roaming SIM cards. Here are some SIM cards we've tested that work well in your current country (Australia we guess?) for your reference:

For Australia, we are compatible with Vodafone. Please refer to the photo below to choose the right SIM card for you~

Hello, good afternoon! I have a PL Carbon card and I'd also like to use the real-time location feature! I'm in Brazil, is there any carrier here that works with the Amflow system? Thanks!

Hi, thanks for reaching out.

We’re very sorry, but at the moment, the Amflow system does not support direct ANT+ connection to devices other than heart rate monitors, such as Garmin computers. You can try switching to Bluetooth connection mode to pair with your device, but we do not recommend this, as it may cause compatibility issues and could potentially result in the remote controllers disconnecting.

As for future firmware updates to support direct connection with more devices, such as Garmin units, we have already passed the feedback on to our engineers. Please keep an eye out for future updates.

Thank you for your understanding!
That is interesting. Wish Garmin would say when that was certified. Maybe recent???? If it is maybe this is in the next update? It's all I really want out of this bike.

@Amflow_Support ... what global position systems does the Amflow support (ie: GPS, Glonas, etc)? A Ride tonight that should have had approximately 30 Strava segments in it only ended up being accurate enough for the 4 along a road. Looking at the data there are massive amounts of missing datapoints. Roughly guessing maybe half or more. Is there any way of boosting this? Or if not how about enabling the Ant+ so I can use an external device like my Garmin.

Correction. In the hour and a half ride it recorded exactly 5 positions in the forest. The only time it actually captured any worth wile datapoints was in open sky.

Hola tengo la verSion 00.13.04.01 no puedo cambiar ni casete ni tamaño de rueda =760mm gracias

Why don't you use Garmin to begin with? Better accuracy and higher recording rate, better integration, better antenna...

Ride tracking on Amflow is okay, but I definitely wouldn't rely on it for accuracy.

Normally I do but seeing as the Amflow doesn't integrate with my Garmin I do not get speed and distance (from the wheel), cadence or power. I'd be happy either way. If they can improve geolocation accuracy or allow Garmin integration, either way is fine by me. This is a premium priced product and should have premium features. The fact that it doesn't either have good geotracking or 3d party integration is very disappointing. Especially seeing that even low and medium end bikes have at least the 3rd party integration. This time I forgot to push the start button on my garmin and didn't realise until about 8 or 9 kms in so i was hoping the amflow would do it. It didn't.

Poor Avinox GPS performance was already reported to the developers . . . i think there will be a solution in near future

Hopefully both. There was no mention of a lack of integration anywhere and my LBS who I've dealt with for the last 20 or so years were also really surprised by that. Literally every other e-bike they sell has it. I can't blame them because mine was literally the first Amflow bike they got their hands on. I am very happy with everything else on this bike ... its great. They just need to fix this one thing. Not sure if you have seen a previous post but it is Ant+ certified so it is not that its not capable, they just haven't enabled the integration.

Hello,
My power controller has begun to function intermittently.
Upon main power-up, the handlebar power actuator when pressed will not send the signal (I assume this is a Bluetooth frequency) unless pressed repeatedly (up to 10 tries). This irritating issue is also persistent during each and every ride. I believe this is a low battery in the sender? The screen page changer on the right is still functioning as necessary.
Also, the rear wheel has become very noisy under load only. No noise when coasting. There is no crank slippage under load so I do not believe it's the hub pawls. There is no noise when suspended in the work stand. All is lubricated. I swapped the wheel out with my 35mm We Are One carbon to eliminate the derailleur/crank/chain/motor as the potential culprits. The new wheel eliminated all noise under climbing loads light and heavy.
So, I will have the spokes re-set to torque spec's as I do not have the wrench or the time to Eff with it. If the wheel persists, I will let you all know.

The Sertões team, which organizes a series of e-MTB races in Brazil, is asking whether there is a way to limit the power (850W) and speed (32 km/h) on the Avinox bikes so they won’t need to create a separate category for them.

Naturally, the solution must ensure that the rider cannot change these settings through the app or the display during the race.

an "EMTB Race mode" (with limited Power) is also on this wishlist

Thanks for your reply, and we apology for the delayed response.

Currently, since Amflow is not officially available in Brazil, we haven’t tested any local carriers for compatibility.
We recommend checking with the dealer you purchased your bike from or looking for experiences shared by other Amflow riders in forums. You could also try using a Nano SIM card from a smartphone. Thanks for your understanding.

Thank you for your messages and feedback.
We completely understand your concerns regarding ride data accuracy. Missing data in forested areas is likely due to GNSS signal interference caused by the environment.

The Amflow PL supports GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS, and QZSS.

We will forward your feedback to the relevant teams at Amflow and Avinox to keep monitoring and improving this. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Gracias por tu feedback. ¿Te refieres a que no se pueden cambiar estos dos ajustes en la app? ¿Podrías compartir una captura de pantalla de la pantalla correspondiente?

Thank you for your detailed feedback. Regarding the controller issue, have you tried re-pairing it?
You may also try replacing the battery with a CR1620.

If you continue to experience any issues, please let us know so we can provide further assistance.
