Rumour has it, they've added "Infinite range" & considerably less weight to make it easier to pedal.

Extensive assist modes include "Macho" "Well ard" "Super Fit" "Slow" "Really fecking slow" "Push it you lazy b4stard - walk assist" & "Stealth silent".

Apparently it never needs charging, is virtually silent, the motor has a lifetime guarantee and they give you €100 cash back everytime you have a recording of someone calling you "cheat", and you get a free blow job after each ride.

It's expected to be priced at least 30% more than your average emtb due to all these extra features.

Are you sure about that? Why would Specialized release the new Levo as a mullet if the 27.5 declined significantly?

Or do you mean 27.5 front and rear? In which case I would agree.

They made the Levo a mullet to shorten the wheelbase. That bike is a barge with 29x29. Yeah 27.5 bikes in general are vanishing really fast.

132mm is a bit of a disappointment, although I'd half expect a redesigned, longer travel (maybe FF) Shuttle variant that would allow Pivot a factory presence in the EWS-E series.

I think they are going to a light trail e-bike. I prefer that but if it sells well, I can see them building a more Enduro-ish option.

Everyone will balk at the 12.5k version but the base 8k version isn't too shabby on the spec front.

Sorry, my badly typed post.

that’s a really low travel rear end. Lower than all compatible SL eebs.

It is. Seems like an unusual decision in the face of that fact that we can't help but be stats junkies when making decisions. I guess the answer is to ride it. There will always be compromises, but it may feel like it has sufficient for 99% of the time, even if we all like to be covered for 120% of the time...

The level of confidence and control the extra 10mm of rear travel provides is notable. Pivot's decision is puzzling in an industry that seems to be converging on 140 for trail bikes.

Still don't get why they keep putting charging ports by the BB, worst place possible, but I am guessing a limitation to do with Faze layout. One thing trek really got right with the EXE is the small details like that. where they have put it at head tube junction end of down tube

I ordered the team XTR. I hope this will be an upgrade to my rise. On paper it’s slightly lighter, better suspension, little bit more range and power than the rise. Also no ep8 clacking. The two biggest issues I have with the rise is the range and the noise. The dw link suspension and weight loss is just icing on the cake.

Pricing from Pivot in Germany is pretty fair for Fox Factory Setup - if you call 10k fair. But the Relay in comparison will be ridiculous: 11k for Fox Performance.

How did you get pricing on the Relay already? Transition doesn't have it listed on their website? I also work at a shop at we're a Transition dealer that they still haven't sent of pricing. Or at least I haven't seen it yet.

US prices don’t include any taxes as these are levied by the states and can vary from state to state. So add 10-20% It’ll still be more but mostly that’ll be the 2000% increase in shipping costs in the last two years.

I have a Team XTR coming, hope to have it in a few weeks. I post up an update when I have a chance to take it for a spin. I am really excited. I already have a Trek Rail, so that is my more all mountain, where this is going to be more of a solo machine, trail bike. Yes, I agree, totally overpriced, but at my age, I worry less about that and more about enjoying the sport while I still can. :)

Real Nice, BUT £10.5k and no axs or carbon rims.
View attachment 96079
AXS is nice but makes it too confusing for me when you go full AXS. Should be connected to the battery…
Carbon Rims: nice but really reliable light ones are hard to find. Had too good experiences with Newmen rims. On slowbuild.de für 370€ with DT350. 1750g. No more carbon rims for me.
BUT I still don‘t like Super Boost. Would like to keep my wheels for fast swapping of the tire set up: bike park/wet (Assegai/DHR II), tour (Butcher/Eliminator), commuting/extreme dry (Ground Control). Makes 3 Boost wheel sets for 2 boost bikes…
