2018 fsr + $$ or 2019 fsr stock?

Hey guys thinking of either upgrading my 2018 fsr to a 2019 fsr or throwing better suspension on it.
Is the 2019 motor and geometry worth the upgrade or as above am I just better off doing suspension on old bike.

Thoughts ?

Having ridden both 2018 & 2019 (before I purchased a 2019) I say go for the 2019 if possible. Both are great bikes but the 2019 just felt more like a really good normal mountain bike. The 2019 has an updated motor, battery, more travel on rear?, reduced weight on all models. Best to try one out.

Hard to get a XL to test ride, rode a carbon comp and that was awesome but not really comparing apples with apples.

Same travel and battery I think but updated motor?

Have ridden both, the 19 is almost like a different bike. I have an XL you can get a shot on if you're local. Alternatively get yourself on the leisure lakes demo of any tickets left in a fortnight.
