Little update
Contacted Specialized ridercare sent them a recording and description of what’s happening and they said to submit a warranty claim. So fingers crossed for a new motor arriving. Have accommodation and trip to Scotland booked for the end of the month. They were good and quick on the...
Just gone Magic Mary Front and Big Betty rear in 2.6. Ultra soft front and soft rear, Super trail and Super Gravity with Cushcores. Heading up to a rocky Scotland next month so will see how they do. Always ran Assegai and DHR before this.
Is something Fox are doing. The suspension service centre has my shock at the moment and they said it would be £50 to process a warranty claim. So I have had them replace the can as I need my bike. But I will give Fox a shout when I get it back.
Has there been a recall/swap out on the shocks? I...
Put my bike in for a service just hit a year and thought it best to get the suspension done. That got sent away and turns out the can is scored. So a new can £57. Anyone else had this or pursued a warranty claim for similar? Company want £50 to pursue the claim. But maybe something I could do...
How have you found the high/slack position? I’m currently running high/middle, but will be doing some steep technical rocky single track soon. I wondered about changing to the slack position and if it make’s much difference? I want to keep high for the rocky climbs.
Cheers
Thanks all, it seems noisier under load than usual to me. Especially when climbing in the big cogs on the back when cadence is up. No faults showing in the App. Still have a year warranty left. The LBS were decent and swapped the motor out on my previous Kenevo SL so sure they will be good with...
I have had my Gen3 Levo for nearly a year, approaching 1300 miles. Got on it today and it sounds like a first gen SL motor. Seems to be getting noisier. Which I notice more in the Forrest than on the road.
The motor is working between modes. No errors or overun.
I am going up to Scotland soon...
Loving the Hope V4’s, running them with the purple Ebike pads and heavy duty 2.3 discs, 220 & 200. Nice feel and great adjustment for reach and bite point.
I have bought some Tech4 V4 brakes for my Levo Expert, do I need new mounts also, or has anyone fitted and used the ones that come with the codes?
If I need them which I suspect I will does anyone know which ones I need. Have the hope heavy duty rotors 220 front and 200 rear to go on.
Thanks
Hello,
I have a Turbo Levo, running Maxxis 2.5 WT Assegai front Exo+, DHR 2.4 Double down rear. Cushcore front and back.
I ride all terrain, Forrest, rocks, road and occasional bike park.
Have a new set of wheels coming and was wondering about going Magic Mary super gravity, no inserts or maybe...
Cheers for the link, I will give them a go. Gave the brakes some love today. Good clean new pads etc. Bedded in and working as they should. If I can improve lever travel that would be great. Fitted the HS2 rotors which I think helped a little. See how these go and will keep people posted. If...
Thanks everyone, when you have given the Hopes a good blast would be interested in seeing how you get on with the extra weight of an Ebike.
Thank you MikerB, really informative and top tip with the pads I will give them a go. Running the SRAM sintered, tried the Uber bike ebike pads, but didn’t...
I have a Levo Expert, anyone upgraded to the RSC levers and did you notice much improvement?
I have fitted the HS2 rotors which improved a little and wondered if having bite adjust gave a better feel.
I’ve tried the latest Hopes on a mates bike and they felt more powerful to me but that’s a much...
Thanks
So my two years purchase warranty will be finished at the end of October. 🤞they put a good motor in then. Specialized have been good with helping rectify problems. Hopefully they would be good if the second motor packed in within what would be the expected life/mileage on a motor. I...
