Recently bought an exposure Diablo helmet light but the vents on my current helmet are not central which means the light is either too far forward or towards the side which unbalances the helmet as the diablo light is fairly heavy.
Any suggestions for a helmet which is suitable for light...
I believe wired tyres are cheaper and that’s what came with the bike. I don’t know any other advantage. I’ve found them to be a pain getting them on and off.
The new Smart Sams are Double Defence. Heavier than my original Nobby Nics but presumably more puncture proof. I removed the Tannus Armour inserts and just put the old tubes back in. Saved a bit of weight overall. Interestingly the new tyres are foldable and much easier to take on and off...
For several years I’ve run tubes with Tannus armour and never had a puncture. Bike is kept outside in a metal bike shed and is exposed to wide fluctuations of temperature throughout the year. Current tyres (Nobby Nics) are perishing and tiny cracks across the surface like crazy paving. I’m...

I have Nobby Nics and and wife has Smart Sams.
As Gary says you need to break bead and push into rim. One side will eventually give but it can take a while but don’t give up. Eventually you will see a bit of rim tape and concentrate on that area and hopefully one wall will start to pull into...
Hot weather?
Using washing up liquid on them?
UV rays?
Maybe they perish and need replacing after a couple of years or is there something I can do to get rid of the horrible stickiness?

Cleaned everything and made sure top and lower cage bearings were all greased properly.
Now I’m getting a judder then braking. I can see the lower forks...
New upper bearings arrived today via Amazon. I cleaned and regreased the whole headset. Made one mistake and put the bearing upside down initially so had to undo everything and rectify that.
I’ve tightened the headset to the point where the spacers still rotate but not too easily...
