Answered Jockey wheel replacement and thread lock?

Planning on replacing worn jockey wheels on Shimano XT 11 speed.
Is thread lock actually necessary or recommended and if so how much do you apply?

Just use blue or nut lock.
I only say blue after 30 odd years in the motor trade blue was for securing things that could be easily undone with basic hand tools. Red was for studs that didn't often need undoing. And basically if blue didn't work use red stud lock and if that was no good, weld the fucker together 😂
